The Hebrew year 5778 has been prophesied by many to the “The Year of the Door”. Since Rosh Hashanah (September 20-22) I have been experiencing a deep time of walking from one place in the spirit to a new place. The threshold of crossing through this doorway or gateway I would likened to receiving a “biohazard cleansing”. In the natural, a biohazard cleanup is done after a house or building has experienced a crime or traumatic event take place where blood or biohazard waste has been left behind. I know that this is a graphic picture but there has been a great battle by the thief that has left upon many what I would call spiritual trauma creating the need for a spiritual biohazard cleansing.
As we walk through the doorway of Christ this year, we are receiving a deep cleansing from past traumas and hazardous waste that has touched our lives and left marks on our souls. This year is a year to walk through a doorway in the Heavenly realm that leads to abundant life in Christ.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
The body of Christ has come through a great battle, especially in the Hebrew year 5777, which was the Year of the Sword. Now we have taken possession of the sword through the victory of Christ and we will go through the door of 5778 to possess and occupy the land of promise. After a great battle (even a great victory) there is a time that the soldiers have their war stained garments changed, their bodies washed and even their minds renewed from all that they witnessed while on the battlefield.
As we have been looking at Zechariah 3 and the changing of Joshua the high priest’s filthy garments; we can see a parallel picture of this biohazard cleansing that is happening even now for the body of Christ. We are receiving fresh, clean garments and being washed anew from all that has clung to us as the thief came to kill and destroy.
I saw a clear vision of His people walking through a man in white linens and as they passed through Him (as if he were a doorway) they were purified, sanctified and refined like gold. They received the white linens that he wore in exchange for heavy war-stained armor and the bloodied sword in their hand became like a bolt of lightning; powerful yet light.
This is what is happening even now. We have been passing through the doorway of Jesus and we are finding safe pasture and restoration for our souls. Though there will be more battles ahead they will be fought in a place of power and authority that has brought great rest to God’s soldiers. We will be clothed in light and purity that is like spiritual camouflage to the demonic forces. The oneness in spirit with Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:17) that is happening will cause the promised protection we read of in Psalm 91 to come upon us in greater measure.
Today is a day to pass through the Door. The door is Jesus and He is clothing us anew with His white garments. He is taking the heavy and burdensome sword from the past season and handing us a sword of light and power for the days ahead. We are clothed with Christ and walk in His ways as we are one in spirit with Him.
This is a good day to be alive and to go beyond survival to abundant life!
