Kathi Pelton
We are entering into a time where we will see fruitfulness and multiplication. 2017 has been a year of purification and consecration; it has prepared us by ridding us of things that were not aligned with truth and breaking the patterns of the world off our lives.
Purification and Multiplication
The Spirit of the Lord led me to Genesis 35 where God commands Jacob to have his family give up all their foreign gods, purify themselves, and change their garments before settling into a new land. It is no coincidence that God has been doing the same thing in His family over the past year.
After Jacob and his family purified their lives, God moved them to a new land to settle and speaks these words to Jacob,
“And God said to him, “I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants.” Genesis 35:11
I hear these words being spoken once again. This is a key verse for 2018. We are a royal people and we will reproduce nations and kings. As we allowed the purification and consecration to change our lives, authority came upon us in new measures that we have not experienced before.
The condition of “infertility” is falling off the body of Christ. We will be fruitful and we will multiply. A sign of this will be that many who have struggled to become pregnant will give birth to sons and daughters. These babies will have a “kingly” anointing on their lives that will carry great leadership and authority.
Oneness With Christ
Corporate prayers, worship, and declaration will release spiritual authority and open up nations and people groups and set many free from the captivity of demonic forces. It is a time to both personally and corporately do only what we see Jesus doing.
By grace, we have been clothed in His purity and righteousness and now our steps and hearts must be aligned with His so that we are united in oneness of spirit with Christ.
“But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.” 1 Corinthians 6:17
Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing. His actions often did not make sense to human understanding, and offended established religious traditions. We, too, must align all that we do—personally and publicly—with what God is doing.
We cannot move according to human understanding or according to what appeases religious rules, but rather we must yield ourselves to only do what our Father is doing. We must not break ranks or walk outside of the unity of God (John 17:20-23). What seems “good” to human understanding will not always be God’s direction. Do not seek good; seek God!
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: The Joining of Generations
This is a time of the joining of generations (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and the time of the restoration of families. Where demonic assignments have brought divisions and separations, now God will restore relationships and join the generations to walk together, prefer one another, and learn from one another. Honor will be given to both the old and the young.
The generations will understand that they need one another and they will yield to that realization. Great strength will come as this happens.
Inheritances Restored
Inheritances will be restored and land will be restored. Joy will fill lives, homes, and even cities.
With the restoration of generations and families we will see the release of lands. This will include lands that belonged to families (and were lost or families were displaced from) and lands (cities and nations) that have been held captive.
Taking the Posture of Mary
As we prepare to move into the new year, allow your posture to be as Mary’s when the angel appeared to her and announced that she would conceive the Messiah (Luke 1:38). She said,
“Be it unto me according to your word.”
This is the posture that allows the Spirit to come upon you in order to make you fruitful. As we take this posture as a corporate family it releases great power.
I see families and congregations standing together to pray the words of Mary from Luke 1:38. I encourage you to spend time with those you love and those that you worship with to take communion together and echo the words,
“Be it unto me according to your word.”
El Shaddai…God Almighty
We will settle into a land and place of rest. El Shaddai (God Almighty) will be made known among you and make Himself known through you. You will be fruitful and multiply in the days ahead. The womb has been prepared and 2018 will be a year of birthing what He has placed within you.
Get ready to see:
• Yielded hearts to the will of God
• Fruitfulness
• Multiplication
• Conceptions
• Restorations of families
• Restoration of generations
• Inheritances restored (spiritual and physical—including land)
• Corporate authority increased
• Nations and cities held captive set free
• Unity
We will see the “more than you can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20) manifest in lives, families, and regions.
El Shaddai (God Almighty) will reveal His love and might in 2018!
