Though I love to “play” with the spiritual craze of seeing repetitive numbers everywhere, I am also aware of a very real mystery and biblical language found in numbers. Therefore, I try to be sensitive as to when I am subconsciously looking for them, and when the Spirit of the Lord is revealing a mystery for me to discover.
When 2018 began I started seeing 22 222 and 2222 continually. It wasn’t merely on clocks, but in places that were unusual and unexpected. When I’d see the numbers it would hit my spirit as something to seek out and give attention to. Then as we entered February I began to see a daily desk calendar and the 21st torn off to reveal February 22nd (2/22). Then I’d see a red heart drawn onto that day. I have not been released to write about this until today, Valentines Day.
So what is the meaning of the number two? For me, in my studies, it represents unity, separation or divisions, covenant, multiplication, keys, the sky (the heavens), help, and witnesses. I won’t touch on all but I will tell you what I feel to release today.
In Genesis 1 we see that on the second day God divided the waters to create the sky,
“Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.” And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens. God called the space “sky.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day. Genesis 1:6-8
Within the sky there is a great light in both the day and the night; the sun, the moon, and the stars. Light always divides darkness. Christ in us separated us from the darkness in our life before we knew Him, and Christ through us brings light to a world that is trapped in darkness. First, God created light (Genesis 1:3-4) and that ushered in the division that came next.
The sky represents the vast expanse where light has been placed to divide the earth from utter darkness. As I pondered this I kept hearing the words from Psalm 121,
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
The Spirit of God was speaking to me first that help would break through for believers in an unprecedented way beginning on 2/22. It is interesting to note that Daniel waited 21 days for help and wisdom and on the 22nd day what he had been asking for arrived. Also, as I read Psalm 121, the Spirit showed me this equation from the numbers 121: 1 + 21=22. Many have experienced delays or resistance regarding the help you have been crying out for, but watch for 2/22 to be a release of a “time of help” coming to you. It will bring light and separate you from the “expansive” warfare that you have been experiencing.
Then the Holy Spirit took me to Genesis 2:22,
“Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man.”
This is another form of help. The man needed a helper, a “helpmate.” He had searched for one through all that God created, but none was found to be suitable; so out of Adam’s bone (rib), God created and fashioned him the longing of his heart. It is interesting to me that on Valentines Day this word is coming forth. I don’t like to “prophesy mates” but I do believe that God is saying that many “helpmates” will come forth as we pass through the 22nd of February. It may not manifest that day, but it is a point in time that can be marked as the beginning for many who have searched for the one who would be suitable and fashioned to be one with them.
“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” Genesis 2:23
There is oneness in the marriage covenant that is a picture of what the bride and the Bridegroom (Jesus) are to share. There is a oneness that is coming upon the bride and, for lack of a better word, a consummation that results in the joining of what was once separated, but now is one spirit with Christ.
“But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17
God is dividing and separating from His bride all that has kept her from being fully one with Him. He took me to the passage that begins with Hosea 2:14,
“But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there. I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. When that day comes,” says the Lord, “you will call me ‘my husband’ instead of ‘my master.’ O Israel, I will wipe the many names of Baal (false gods and masters) from your lips, and you will never mention them again. On that day I will make a covenant with all the wild animals and the birds of the sky and the animals that scurry along the ground so they will not harm you. I will remove all weapons of war from the land, all swords and bows, so you can live unafraid in peace and safety.” Hosea 2:14-18
Today, 2/14/18 the Lord is speaking these words from Hosea 2:14-18 to you.
Hosea 2:22 goes on to say,
“The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.” Hosea 2:22
The word “Jezreel” comes from two Hebrew root words, meaning “to sow” and “mighty, especially Almighty.” Put together, the two root words mean “God will sow.” What has been sown will begin to reap a bountiful harvest! Jezreel was also that land where the Kings of Israel resided and where Jezebel was defeated. God’s kings and priests will once again reside in the land and take down the spirit of Jezebel.
Hosea 2:22 speaks of the new wine and Mark 2:22 says,
“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22
We are now entering the time of the new wineskin. The new wine cannot be poured into the old wineskin or it will burst and spill out only to be wasted. Oneness, covenant, and unity will create the birthing of this new wineskin.
Also, out of marriage covenants comes the fruit of children. Fruitfulness will mark this time and as a sign many who have not been able to conceive will find themselves with child. Their healed wombs will be a sign of the new wineskin. As I spoke of in my word for 2018, a kingly anointing will rest upon these children.
I will share more in later posts but this is what I feel that I can release today, on Valentines Day. “Oh how He loves you and me!”
