Oceans in the Desert

I felt a quick but strong warning and exhortation hit my spirit today:

Be very careful regarding reactions to things that grab at your emotions (soul) because the enemy is setting traps to distract and offend. Watch your words and what you engage in…let the peace of God guard your heart and soul.

These traps are designed to bring divisions and disunity; they are even formed as a weapon to steal away your promise and promotion. Go low and be slow to speak!

“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.” James‬ ‭1:19-21‬ ‭NLT‬‬
