The enemy has unleashed an unholy wind to try to batter the people of God into being overcome with offense. This is sent as a distraction to get your focus off of the work of transformation that the Spirit of the Lord is doing in His Church.
If you are experiencing this storm, do not react out of your soul but respond from your spirit. We are called to love our enemies and bless those who curse us. We are to pray for those who accuse us and come into agreement with God’s original intent for their lives. We align with His love even when we experience arrows of hatred.
“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
I have personally experienced a small group of people (not believers!) who have come against me with lies and accusations; even blatant declarations of witchcraft curses against me and our family. When this began the Lord said to me,
“Kathi, you must separate the people from the spirit that is holding them captive.”
I immediately began to decree God’s heart and love over them and at the same time bound the spirit moving through them from having access to our lives. God’s wisdom brought me into alignment with His love for them, while at the same time taking authority over the “spirit” that is releasing curses against us.
The enemy is stirred up because so much ground is being taken through the purification that is happening in God’s true ekklesia. The Kingdom of God is being established with power and authority, and it is displacing demonic powers that have held people and regions captive. The wind of the Spirit is blowing away darkness and God’s ekklesia is occupying with His light. Therefore, do not be dismayed or fearful when these things come at you, because greater is He who is within you than he who is in the world!
“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” 1 John 4:4
Jesus has overcome the world and you can enter into His overcoming victory today. It is time to separate the individuals being used by the accuser from the spirits at work within them. We can release Jesus’ perfect love on people while maintaining our authority against the powers and principalities oppressing them.
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” I John 4:18
Finally, as you stand in love against every spirit of hate and offense, remember to allow the peace of God to guard your heart mind.
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
