The Father Desires to Lavish You in His Love

Kathi Pelton

I was taken into an experience in which I became keenly aware of a deep longing of our Heavenly Father to lavish His love upon His children.

I was able to feel the depth of His love and to sense the longing for His children to experience His love for each of them as individuals.

Remember, He loves you so much that He gave His Son as a ransom for your life. Sometimes we forget that He still loves us today that much! The Father lavished us with His best (His Son) and He has not stopped. The enemy works hard to convince God’s people that their Father wants to withhold from them or even that He is angry with them. But His love never changes and He has never regretted giving His beloved Son.

It is time to fully believe that He longs to lavish you with His love. He will never withhold from you and His love never has changed. Though He has compassion on His children, it is not pity that causes Him to bless you…IT IS LOVE!

Reject every thought that your Father withholds from you or is angry with you. Of course He grieves when His children doubt or question the depths of His love, just as any father would grieve. He is overjoyed when we believe and trust that His love is limitless and extravagant. This joy provokes His love to pour out like rain upon His children.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” 1 John 3:1

It’s time to expect the great love of your Father to be lavished upon you!

PERSONAL NOTE AND REQUEST:

Have my writings have encouraged your life? If so will you sow a gift of thanksgiving into our ministry, especially now as we prepare to reach out to our home city of Santa Rosa, California where so much devastation and loss has occurred. To give go to:
