Two days ago I had a vision of the enemy throwing dog bones that had land mines attached to them. These “bones” were distractions and temptations. When someone chased after them and bit into them, the mine would explode, causing severe injury to the person.
Then the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and said that His people must seek wisdom and only touch what is righteous, pure, and holy.
This morning my dear friend Daneen Bottler, who is a prophetic voice (https://www.tyanddaneenbottler.com/), posted a scripture from the Message version of the Bible that is absolutely fitting and confirming of this vision. It reveals the true bone, which is wisdom, that the righteous are to grab hold of and chew on; this gives life and health rather than destruction.
“Righteous chews on wisdom like a dog on a bone, rolls virtue around on his tongue. His heart pumps God’s Word like blood through his veins; his feet are as sure as a cat’s.” Psalm 37:30-31 MSG
Beware of chasing after the bait of the enemy: “bones” that stir up strife, divide friends, cause contention, produce jealousy, are critical in nature, or do not align with the Word of God.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and your years will be added to your life.” Proverbs 9:10-11
Seek and pursue wisdom!
