Today is #GIVINGTUESDAY which is your opportunity to give a yearly gift to a non-profit organization that you believe in. Will you prayerfully consider giving your yearly gift our ministry.
Each year #GIVINGTUESDAY comes the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday where huge amounts of money are spent on gifts for ourselves and our loved ones. But then comes Tuesday which is a “Give back” day to support your favorite ministry or organization.
It is always the focus of our lives to give of ourselves; our resources, our time and our gifts each and every day of the year. This often comes with great sacrifice but we know that Jesus sacrificed His all for us so we are merely following His example of what love looks like.
One of our favorite verses on giving comes from Luke 6:38-40,
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
This is a promise that we have seen fulfilled in our lives continually. We have never been able to out-give God…all that we have ever given has come back upon us in a greater measure.
That is why we love #GIVINGTUESDAY! We know that every person who gives will receive back according to the measure that they give. This is true for you today as well. We love that what our ministry receives will come back on those who give with abundant and multiplied blessings. God keeps His Word!
