Oceans in the Desert

Recently I was on a conference call with a dear friend in Japan. During this call she began to share the unknown origins of the “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” monkeys that we all are so familiar with. Their origin was from ancient Japan when Christianity was considered “evil.” The three moneys with their hands over their eyes, mouths, and ears represented spirits that stopped the people from seeing, hearing, or speaking the truth of salvation through Jesus. These monkeys are seen at shrines in Japan and are called “The Wise Monkeys.”

While I cannot prove or disprove that this is the original meaning of “The Three Wise Monkeys” at this time but when I heard this something in my spirit realized that there are demonic spirits sent to blind people from the true revelation of Jesus Christ, determined to silence the voices that bring good news and truth, and to deafen ears from hearing the gospel.

If there is one place on earth that we see this played out it is in the nation of Japan where less than one percent of the population are Christian. These are powerful spirits that come to cover eyes, mouths, and ears.

God is exposing these spirits and binding their hands behind their backs. They have kept people in deception and have also been a spirit that has come to blind, silence, and deafen even the believers. They keep us from understanding the wisdom of the true God and bound to the “wisdom of the world,” which is foolishness to God.

It is time for us to stand up and take authority over these spirits that have been hidden from our sight and yet kept many bound and captive.

These spirits seek after our children to keep them blind, mute, and deaf to the light and truth. They resist the sight and sound of the good news.

It is time to pray and demand that all influence from these spirits be removed from your life, your children, and your city. They are not “three wise monkeys” but three spirits that bring foolishness, deception, and darkness.

I feel the roar of God regarding these spirits over lives, people groups, and nations. I feel His roar over Japan! There is a breakthrough for Japan coming that will overcome these blind, mute, and deaf spirits of idolatry that will open eyes, ears, and mouths to confess Jesus as Lord! But this is not only for Japan, for It will come off of the prodigals and will release a wave of salvation worldwide that is unprecedented.

I declare, “See, speak, and hear what the Lord is saying!” I stand with you and by the authority of Jesus Christ loose the hands that have covered your eyes, your mouth, and your ears. You will see the salvation of the Lord, you will speak the word of the Lord and you will hear the wisdom of God.
