There is such strength in family and in numbers. As the enemies of God seek to weaken men and women through fear and intimidation it is vital to come together and see strength restored.
Have you noticed that acts of terror are most often targeted at large gatherings of people who had come together to enjoy a single activity? The enemy hates family, he hates people coming together and more than anything he hates family.
In the past decade the enemy has worked hard to see God’s people separated from one another. Many became disillusioned with “church”, causing them to become separated from the family of God. Offenses became fences of separation.
The Lord has been restoring His family and as they come together strength is being restored. In some cases He is joining you to new “houses” and family members and some are being restored to the place that they previously left; causing the fences to fall down.
We are strengthened when we are together, we are encouraged and we are protected.
“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25
There are mantels and callings that must be carried by a group of believers rather than by an individual. As each one brings their gift and joins it with those who carry the same heart and vision, together they can receive the corporate anointing that will carry out the vision that takes an army walking together to fulfill.
If one man can chase a thousand and two put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30) then think of how many a group of people who will walk as one army or troop; each member walking in their right position.
“…They never jostle each other; each moves in exactly the right position. They break through defenses without missing a step.” Joel 2:8
I find it amazing how in times of crisis people suddenly come together to work for the good of all. In the recent natural disasters and in the horrific massacre in Las Vegas we saw people come together to protect one another. They brought their different individual gifts and training to assist those in need and they gave what they had for the needs of the whole. No one thought about the color of someone else’s skin, their beliefs or their political party…they merely became a corporate family that shared an experience that brought them together. Each one took their position to defend the weaker ones.
God is calling His people to be positioned in families and as an army that carries out missions of His Kingdom. I keep seeing in my spirit a flag raised that has a lion upon it that announces,
“The King is in the land.”
I sense that the King is here to gather His army and He is giving assignments out. They will train in troops and go out as one under the King’s command. They will march under His authority and with victories assured.
Now is the time to find your troop or tribe. He is positioning each one on their place for the sake of the whole. Strength will come to all as each steps into their appointed steps. The army is coming together and we will walk in the fear of the Lord, the steps of our God and great victories will follow.
