God is Walking Into Your Room

Kathi Pelton

As I was spending time with the Lord I saw a vision of Him gently knocking on a door. It was not the front door to a house but rather a bedroom door. Through the door, I could see a woman sitting in her room, weeping. Her pain was tangible and her desperation was so very deep. I somehow knew that she had tried to be strong through the pain, but it now felt like she could not catch her breath.

Then, suddenly, she heard the gentle tap on the door and invited Jesus in. He walked over to this woman and He wrapped His arms around her and held her. She wept in His comforting strength and as she did, He took all of her pain upon Himself. He breathed life and hope back into her and gave her His peace.

As I watched this vision I knew it was for many men and women who are even now experiencing this deep pain; I also heard in my spirit the song by Bryan and Katie Torwalt playing, “When You Walk Into the Room.”

The words became alive,

“When You walk into the room

Everything changes

Darkness starts to tremble

At the light that You bring

And when You walk into the room

Every heart starts burning

And nothing matters more

Than just to sit here at Your feet

And worship You

We worship You”

There is comfort knocking on the doors to the rooms that the broken-hearted are sitting in. It is the comfort that only He can bring and it gives you the strength to go forward and the air to breathe deeply once again. He is calming your fears and comforting your pain; He will make all things new.

He longs to take your anguish and hold you. He is knocking on the door so He might come in and change everything through His love. Your pain will turn into the deepest worship that you have ever known and ever released to Him. He makes the bitter waters sweet and heals the broken-hearted.

“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them all by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! The Lord supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust. Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp. He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures. He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry. He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.” Psalms‬ ‭147:3-11‬ ‭

I release over every person reading this word and over the ones that you love the embrace of the unfailing love of God. His unfailing love is even now coming upon your body, your soul and your spirit to release the manifestation of the assurance of your hope and faith. His strength has come to carry you and to carry your pain (and the pain of your loved ones). He makes all things new!
