Oceans in the Desert

This morning one of my dearest friends, Daneen Bottler, sent me a screenshot of her FB post about the goodness of God from Psalm 23:6.

“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalms‬ ‭23:6‬ ‭

Right after she had posted it she came across Lana Vawser’s recent post that concludes with a verse about “seeing the goodness of God in the land of the living” from Psalm 27:13. Then, again, she saw a third post about God’s goodness from another prophetic voice.

I replied to her with these words,

“Where there are two or three in agreement it is established!”

Then I set down my phone and picked up my Bible. It was upside down but I opened it anyway and when I turned it around guess what chapter and verse it was opened to?

YES! Psalm 27:13,

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm‬ ‭27:13‬ ‭

Immediately I heard the Spirit say to me,

“Now is the time of a divine turnaround from a place of feeling upside down to being right side up. You will witness My goodness and unfailing love in the land of the living, even from the place of feeling like everything is upside down. Where you have experienced confusion and an unrelenting weariness, suddenly I will turn things right side up and My goodness will overtake the flood that the enemy sent against you. I will come upon you with unrelenting restoration, rejuvenation and it will cause great rejoicing.”

C’mon! This is our God! He is confirming His word!
