Oceans in the Desert

There is so much in this world to cause hearts to live in constant anxiety. To be anxious is to think about what might go wrong; it is negative faith. Negative faith is like cancer in the believers life, bringing death to peace and joy. True faith brings a cure; peace, joy, confidence and resurrection life occurs as we walk by faith and not by sight.

God wants your thoughts and mind be renewed by the faith that can move mountains! Replace all the thoughts that have filled your mind with worry and an alignment with beliefs that do not make Jesus true to His promises with the KNOWING that as you seek first Christ and His Kingdom that ALL the things you need will be added to you!

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs‬ ‭23:7‬ (a)

If you think, “I’m doomed!” Then that is where your faith is attached. If you say in your heart, “No good thing comes to me!” Then you have aligned your mind with the Accuser who wants you to believe that God is not faithful or good.

On the contrary, if a man thinks, “I am highly favored with every good and perfect gift that comes from above because God is good and his love is perfect toward me in every way.” That faith will align your life with the Kingdom of God creating a portal of provision and promises fulfilled.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭

To seek first the kingdom of God means that your salvation, your relationship with God, is always placed first…before the cares of this world. What is your mind drawn to first? Worry and anxious thoughts about the things of the world or joyful anticipation in the hope of your salvation? If your thoughts and beliefs do not align with the character and nature of God then they are aligned with lies.

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭

“According to His riches!” not according to the wisdom of the world that comes from a night of sleepless worry. His glorious riches have all that you need and all the wisdom that you need to walk in His ways.

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”” Luke‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭

You can’t out give God. So put God first and trust in His word. Stop being anxious with thoughts that bring you into a negative faith but begin to focus on what is good and what is true; for you will reap a bountiful harvest in your field of faith. Sow seeds of faith into your field of confident faith and watch God move. A field of worry that has been planted with seeds of lack and unbelief will only bring up weeds that choke out fruit and leave you with a harvest of disappointment.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” Philippians 4:8

As a man thinks so he is! So think on the things above, the things that are true, the things that are right because God wants your breakthrough even more than you want it. He wants you to live in abundant life, abundant peace, abundant joy.

It is time to enter into the faith that moves mountains and leave behind the way of life that leaves you disappointed and defeated! He is faithful…seek Him first! This is your divine turnaround.
