Oceans in the Desert

I heard in my spirit the sound of many crying out for help from what felt like dungeons of the soul. The sound of their pain seemed like too much to bear and yet their cries were toward the One in whom they still had hope.

These cries and calls for help were 911 calls to heaven and I heard the response , “911, what is your emergency?” Then the people would frantically share their emergency (relationships, finances, health, jobs, etc.). After they made their emergency known I heard, “Help is on the way.”

As this vision or scenario played out I was directed to Zechariah 9:11,

“Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon.”

‭‭Jesus has made a promise—He made a covenant with you—that was sealed with His blood and He will free you from what has felt like sure death in a “waterless dungeon” of despair. The one thing that you have held onto is your hope in Him! Zechariah 9 goes on,

“Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.” Zechariah‬ ‭9:12

For a number of weeks I have been hearing a declaration in my spirit that is a direct line from the worship song, “You Have Won Me.” The words are as follows,

“Shout it out and lift up one voice in worship

Sing it out until all the earth can hear it

Jesus is alive and He saves, He rescues and saves”

These words have poured out of me many times over the past couple of weeks in deep intercession for those in distress. I hear myself declaring, “Jesus is alive and He saves, He rescues and saves.”

It is a declaration of our very hope and help. Now, Help is on the way! The Lord will not only rescue you but He will give you double blessings for all of the troubles that you have faced.

Safety will come, your hope will not disappoint. This VERY day He says,

“I promise I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”
