Oil Is Being Poured Out Upon The United States of America

by Kathi Pelton

On October 28th, 1886 the Statue of Liberty was dedicated and unveiled by President Grover Cleveland in the New York harbor. Today marks 133 years since this occurred. Here are the words from Psalm 133:

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.” Psalms‬ ‭133:1-3‬ ‭

Though most looking from the outside would say that our nation is surely not living in harmony together. But we are not those who look from “outside” but we have been brought into “insider information” through Christ. God always works through His chosen remnant and I hear Him shouting, “My remnant is so pleasant to Me! Their harmony, love, yielding and longing for purity is so pleasant to me! Their labor and oneness has captured My attention and released My oil and blessing!”

I suddenly saw His pleasure dripping like oil down the robe of “Lady Liberty.” It was renewing her strength and rebirthing (renewing) God’s original intent for our nation.

I heard the words from Isaiah 40:31

“But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

God’s remnant is establishing “trust in the Lord” that is covering the nation in the blessing that comes for the nations that says, “In God We Trust!” This is the blessing that is spoken of in Psalm 133:3,

“…And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.”

God’s remnant is and has been allowing the deep work of His Spirit to give them clean hands, a pure heart and unity that is so pleasant to the Lord. There is a standard being raised like the torch in Lady Liberty’s hand; that standard establishes the fear of the Lord that declares, “In God We Trust.”

On the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty is a verse from a sonnet by Emma Lazarus that says,

“Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

I sense that even the last name of the author of this sonnet is prophetic in nature as the Lord is calling us to life; awakening the original intent for our nation to “strengthen the weary, give breath to the faint and give shelter to those without a home.” Just as He called out, “Lazarus, come forth.” He is calling out, “America, come forth.”

He is strengthening us to run and not grow weary, to run again and not faint! He is calling the orphans to find family and those without a home to be sheltered in His love.

“…I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

May we lift our lamp of the light of the Lord up and welcome the King of Glory into our nation. May we take up the cause of the poor and make our land a resting place for the Lord and all that He carries in His heart.

“Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is He, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty— He is the King of glory.” Psalm 24:7-10

On this day, October 28th, 2019 we declare and establish the standard of absolute trust in the Lord within our nation. We lift up a light that declares the fear of the Lord. Let unity and harmony release the oil that drips down the robe of our nation and saturates our land and people with the oil of gladness. Make us a resting place for the King of Glory.

We welcome You, King of Glory, into the gateways of our nation. We lift up our heads to welcome you. We bow down before you in honor and reverence. We call out to our nation, “Lazarus, arise, come forth!” Resurrect Your original intent for our nation and who we are to be to the nations of the world. Set Your holy standard; established it in our day!
