Oceans in the Desert

In 24 hours our moving truck arrives! We will pack it and begin the drive from Oregon to Virginia— our new home and ministry base.

This is a huge transition with a huge price tag but the Lord asked us to go to the Washington DC region for our next assignment and we will always say, “Yes” to the One who is worthy.

Some have asked why we are raising funds if the Lord asked us to go (saying that if He asked He will provide). Our answer to that is that God made family and partnership within that family; just as we can ask for prayer, counsel, encouragement— we can also ask for financial support. God often provides through His family so that all receive a blessing.

We have spent years giving and often sacrificially, but in everything we’ve ever given we received back more than we gave. It’s how the Kingdom of God works.

Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

This has been our experience and therefore when we invite you to give, we also invite you into the overflow of His promised blessing.

On January 4th we will begin our almost 3000 mile journey across the nation to begin to enter into what the Lord has asked of us. We invite you to enter in with us through prayer and by giving a financial gift.
