Oceans in the Desert

Early this morning I saw dark demonic clouds that has been sent over many of God’s people in order to distract, discouraged and dishearten them.

There is so much activity in the spirit realm right now over both individuals and over territories (nations/people groups). Great battles are being fought to take land and to occupy territories that have long been held by the enemy. God’s people have been arising like an army of light that will walk in unity, joy, peace and the fear of the Lord. This has the enemy scrambling for ways to cause them to “break rank”, dismantle unity and cast shadows to cause human fear because he knows that their fear of the Lord is one of their greatest weapons.

As I saw these dark clouds (much of which were shadows that appear larger than the actual size) over people I suddenly saw the angels of God coming to blow them away and expose them for what they were. Some were actual demonic clouds filled with dark assignments to send a storm over people who had become a threat to his rule. Others were nothing more than what I will call “shadow storms.” I saw it like when people use their hands to make shadow figures appear on a wall that look like monsters or wild animals. The enemy is actually using the brightness of the light that these people carry to cast a shadow that looks fiercer and larger than it actually is; or to give the appearance of being something that it actually is not. It’s a like “smoke and mirrors” to create fear and block the light.

The Lord is dealing with the actual demonic dark assignments that have been targeting true, significant threats to his camp and God is also exposing the shadow games that were sent to cause fear and to stop forward movement in those becoming a threat. His warring angels have been commissioned to disassemble the demons, expose the “trickery” and to blow away the darkness.

On another subject; I felt that the Lord wanted to remind some of you that there is a great sifting occurring at this time. This sifting will separate the “sheep and the goats.” It is difficult to watch this process, especially with people that you had great hope for. But do not be dismayed because many will return later when they come to a place of deep repentance after dwelling in darkness.

Wolves in sheep’s clothing are being exposed, false doctrines are being exposed, mixture is being exposed and impure motives are being exposed. Pray for a deep humility that allows true repentance to come to these people and places that have tolerated mixture and compromise.

Again, do not be overly dismayed by exposure of what was already there! Of course there is grief when we see these hidden things exposed but it is necessary. Just because you see it doesn’t mean that it didn’t exist already. Thank God for the exposure so that the opportunity for repentance can come. If they will not repent then it is better that no one else is influenced or led astray by their hidden agendas.

If you have been dealing with a dark cloud that has discouraged you, ask the Lord to send His angels to blow away the darkness and ask the Spirit of the Lord to comfort and encourage your soul back to the place of joy. The enemy is putting on quite the show and the joy of the Lord may be the answer that shakes off the heaviness. Also, remember that an uncompromising fear of the Lord is both a shield and powerful weapon against human and circumstantial fear.
