Oceans in the Desert

These are the words that have been repeating in my thoughts and heart all morning, “All Hail King Jesus!”

I had a vision on Sunday during our worship service of a glass ceiling shattering. Before it shattered I saw the ceiling and upon it was the images of our faces. I asked Him, “Why are our images creating a ceiling between heaven and earth…between us and You?”

Immediately He began to show me that His people tend to stop at “our personal limitations.” In other words, we limit Him based on our image rather than His. I began to allow my worship to exalt Him for who He is and all that He is worthy of. As I did He took me above my limitations (and the limitations of this earthly realm) into the limitless image and infinite goodness of who He is. As this happened the ceiling shattered and it became an open heaven.

He was being exalted for who He is not for what I see of Him in me or even who I understand or perceive Him to be. It’s difficult to put into words because it was like going into the depths, heights and width of His image and His love that has no beginning and no end. In this place the sound that I experienced declares, “All Hail King Jesus!”

It was a place of greater surrender and yielding to worship and enthroned Him in a limitless place; a place that crowns Him above all else.

Because this was and is a work of the Spirit, I encourage you to ask the Spirit of the Lord to usher you into this place of worship and surrender that breaks any ceiling that has been created due to your own self image or any earthly understanding. It is time for an open heaven!

He is worthy of it ALL! As He is enthroned upon every part of us; our families, our cities, our nations and our worship, we will see how He is given back what is rightfully His. He will be Lord of all and we will not only sing, “All Hail King Jesus” but we will see the world begin to have their eyes open to who He really is. A limitless, infinite and eternal God who “so loves the world!”
