Yesterday our worship set had two songs that the Lord used like weapons of warfare in our midst. The first song was Bethel Music’s “Raise A Hallelujah” and the second song was an Elevation Worship song called “Do It Again”.
As we sang, danced and declared the words to these songs the atmosphere as was electric with a faith-filled, overcoming authority that was “raising praise higher than the mountains raised against us!”
In the song, “Raise A Hallelujah” there is a section where the words, “Sing a little louder…” are repeated again and again as the voices build. As we sang those words louder and louder; raising our voices above the voices that shouted from the mountains of opposition, it was like watching the mountain crumble before our eyes. The shadows that the mountains had cast to darken the light of truth was removed and suddenly I found myself standing on top of the mountain “raising a Hallelujah!”
Unbeknownst to me, the next song would be “Do It Again.” This song is about how God will do once again what He has done in days past. One of the lines declares these words,
“I’ve seen You move, come move the mountains
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again
You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again”
As we sang and declared these words corporately there was so much faith in the room. Then I heard the Lord say,
“Have everyone stand on top of the mountain of opposition that has been raised against them. Then have them raise their Hallelujahs higher and louder than all that is under their feet and watch as it crumbles.”
We did! We all used the mountains that stood before us to take us higher as we “Raised a Hallelujah” to the One who levels the mountains! We lifted Him higher and as we did He lifted us above what stood against us.
This morning I awoke with the Lord saying,
“Invite them all to join in!”
He is inviting you to put that mountain that has been raised up to oppose you under your feet and from that place to raise your Hallelujah! Declare that He will remove the mountain once again. Let your faith arise, let your song arise, let your voice be heard, let light break through…let your praise be raised higher than the mountain!
Don’t stop! Sing a little louder! Dance on it, shout from it and watch Him do it again!
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
