Oceans in the Desert

As I was flying cross country today I felt the Spirit ask me to share with you some things that have been highlighted to me as we’ve entered 2020. There is more but I’d like to share these specific ones with you so that you can both identify (confirm) His work in your life regarding these areas and so that you can begin to pray for these things personally, for your loved ones and for the body of Christ.

Here are the eight that I’d like to highlight and further explain for now:

• Rest In Christ: This is a “rest in your soul” that comes with abiding in the surrendered trust in your Father’s love. It heals trauma, brings peace and breaks fear/anxieties.

• By My Spirit: Zechariah 4:6 has been highlighted as a key verse for this era. As we rest in Him (laying down our might & power) it makes room for the sovereignty of His Spirit to accomplish the impossible; giving ALL glory to God!

• Jubilee: I keep hearing that we are about to see “miraculous jubilees “ take place. These will set many free from the enslavement of financial debt. It will cause prisoners to be set free and heavy weights to be removed from the backs of God’s people.

• Holiness: A hunger for holiness is building and growing that is causing authentic “Godly sorrow” that ushers permanent change (repentance) and sets people free from regret, guilt and condemnation.

• Clean Hands/Pure Hearts: “The pure in heart will see God.” A washing of hearts and hands is now happening! It is like a fresh baptism in purity. This is causing a purification of heart motives and reforming movements.

• Return To First Love: The revelation of the agape love of God is beginning to fall upon the Church (His Bride) that will awaken her to first love. This “first love” will cause a sound that is like a pounding heart but will act as a battering ram against hatred and darkness. It is the sound of full abandonment to His desires. Worship and prayer movements will carry this sound and will become the thing that goes before what He is doing in the earth (evangelism, healing, deliverance, salvations, nations shifting, etc.)

• The Government of God On Earth: The bride has been crowned with authority (such as Queen Esther). The King’s scepter has been extended and He is awaiting her requests so that He might grant them. Her voice and requests will set people groups and nations free. The signet ring has been placed on modern day Mordecai’s who will carry out what the King has spoken (and His Bride has decreed). This is establishing a governmental authority upon the church like has not been seen before. The earth’s governments will even be subject to the authority released through the mouths of God’s people.

• Family, Unity & Oneness: Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21-23 is beginning to be made manifest. This is a sovereign act of God that merely requires humility! Preference of others, being family, praying rather than judging differences, and surrender are purifying (fertilizing) the soil that is making this possible.

There is so much more! What a magnificent time it is to be alive in Christ! Make these points (themes) points of prayer and meditation each day.
