Time To Ascribe!

By Kathi Pelton

On this first day of 2021 the word “Ascribe” has been resounding in my mind and my spirit like a bell tolling to announce God’s attributes. To ascribe means to attribute, impute or assign a quality or cause to something or someone.

The 96th Psalm ascribes certain qualities to Yahweh,

“Ascribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of His name; bring an offering and enter His courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations: “The Lord reigns. The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken. He judges the peoples fairly.”” Psalms‬ ‭96:7-10‬ ‭

As I read these words (declared these words), I could feel the weight of the authority we carry as His Ecclesia to ascribe to the Lord attributes that fill heaven to be made manifest on earth.

Therefore, we ASCRIBE to the Lord glory and strength! We ASCRIBE to Yahweh the glory of His name! We enter His courts with confidence that He alone has established the earth and His attributes will be upheld on earth as it is in heaven.

We ASCRIBE all dominion and sovereignty to Yahweh!

Today, join with me to ascribe righteousness, justice, mercy, truth, wisdom, faithfulness, deliverance and victory to the Lord! We ascribe authorship of all of these attributes to God alone. We come into His courts with thanksgiving and declarations that He will pour out these attributes over all His creation— for the earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it!

Ascribe to Yahweh, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due His name; worship Yahweh in the splendor of His holiness.” Psalms‬ ‭29:1-2‬ ‭

Psalm 29 concludes with the words,

“In His temple all cry, “Glory! ” The Lord sat enthroned at the flood; the Lord sits enthroned, King forever. The Lord gives His people strength; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” Psalms‬ ‭29:9-11‬ ‭

He sits enthroned as King forever! He is enthroned over all the happenings on the earth today. We declare that He is enthroned over 2021 and all the activities on the earth in this time. He is enthroned over our lives. He is enthroned over all as we ascribe to Him all that belongs to Him and that He deserves! All authority, all dominion, all power and all glory are ascribed to Him alone.

Let us rejoice! He rules with righteousness and faithfulness— let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice! Let earth receive her King in 2021!

It Is Time to Put On the Garments of Praise

By Kathi Pelton

“…and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.” Isaiah 61:3

2020 has been very difficult for many. Though God has come as light in the darkness for those who take refuge in him, it does not change the fact that all of the world, those who fear the Lord and those who do not, have been effected by all that has taken place in 2020.

We have all watched dear friends lose loved ones unexpectedly, lose jobs, lose homes, lose businesses…or maybe it is YOU who have lost one or one of these things this year. There is no shame in grieving. Grief does not reflect your faith or your trust in God. It merely says, “I have loved someone that I can no longer share my life with.” or “I labored for something that I believed in and it is no more.” There is grief that comes with losses and God asks us to grieve with those who grieve. And so we do!

Even as we grieve with those who grieve, it is right to put on “garments of praise” (even in the midst of loss or experiencing compassion on those who have lost). We have all lost something, even if it is just our rights and freedom to interact with friends or to enjoy looking into another’s face to see them smile. Though we have been forced to wear a mask on our physical body that reminds us all of this global pandemic, it is time to purposely and intentionally put on a spiritual garment that is called “praise!”

We have an eternal hope that gives us reason for praise in every season and circumstance. I have had seasons in my life of grief where I praised through the tears and it became of garment of peace in the midst of a storm. Praise became my refuge and fortress that took me above what my eyes could see.

Isaiah 61 goes on to say this,

Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.”

Today these words from Isaiah 61 rang like a bell of triumph in my spirit. It was like an announcement from angelic hosts calling us to put on garments of praise because the faithfulness of the Lord is our reward and his everlasting covenant will be made known among the nations!

I had a vision of God’s people putting on the garments of praise and as they did, God supernaturally clothed them with heavenly garments of peace and favor that broke off heaviness and despair. This garment of peace was tangible to the point of giving supernatural strength to those who have grown weary. The garment of favor attracted both heaven and earth; bringing forth prosperity that touched every area imaginable.

It is time to let the words that conclude Isaiah 61 pour out of our mouths like a river of praise,

“I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.”

Clothe yourself with garments of praise and watch what happens in the days to come!

Awe and Wonder Will Appear in the Darkness

By Kathi Pelton

As most of you know, on December 21,2020— on the darkest day of the year (first day of winter: shortest daylight of the year), around the globe we will see the night sky lit up with what looks like a Christmas star. In reality it will be the first time in 800 years that Jupiter and Saturn meet together to create “light in the darkness” or a “Christmas star.”

Two months ago the Lord began speaking to me about a “meeting” (joining or kiss) that would take place after the conclusion of Hanukkah. I shared it with some but most people’s minds were on the election and not on what would happen in December. The Lord told me that there would be a manifestation of Psalm 85:10 that would occur,

Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.

The meaning of the name Jupiter is “The Supreme God” and the meaning of the name Saturn is “The God of the Harvest”! In the midst of darkness they will meet together and kiss the earth with a sign of light! I realize that these name meanings were based on mythology and Greek gods but I also understand that God created these planets and I believe that their names actually point to our true “Supreme God” and “God of the Harvest” (capital “G” God— not small “g” god).

What awe and wonder we will see and encounter! Our Supreme God will kiss the harvest and many will know that He alone is God. This may just be the beginning of the great harvest that we have all prayed for and awaited.

12/21 will mark a great turnaround and alignment where love and faithfulness, righteousness and peace meet together and kiss creation! 2020 may have been the threshold of entering the greatest harvest the world has ever seen as light penetrates darkness. Hearts were aligned, His people met together in the midst of great separation, His remnant church was awakened and bought pure oil for her lamp. The global Ecclesia declared Jesus as King throughout the world as one bride and one body joined with one God! What a glorious sight as heaven and earth have aligned. Let earth receive her King!

It’s Time to Bring Down Heaven to Earth

By Kathi Pelton

Last night I had a brief, yet profound (and completely unexpected), encounter during a time of worship. Suddenly, I found myself in the third heaven and I was looking out upon the “Crystal Sea” or “Sea of Glass” that is before the throne. I have never seen anything like this before. The sapphire blue was breathtaking and endless; and the sky (horizon) was like fire and reflected His eyes. The stillness upon this sea was far beyond “the lack of a storm or waves”- it was a sovereign stillness and peace that carried great power that saturation the entire atmosphere. It was as if a great “weightiness” was upon the peace— a weighty peace.

As I stood there, looking out upon it, Lord asked me, “Would you like to walk upon it?” He took my hand (though I never saw His face— only heard His voice and felt His hand take mine) and He walked me out a short distance upon this crystal sea of glass. I don’t know how to describe what I saw but over this immense sea the sky had what I can only describe as both the sunrise and sunset happening simultaneously. Actually all of the colors from the beginning to end of morning and evening somehow were intermingled and the sea and sky reflected it all. I knew that His face was the source of these colors and that all of heaven reflected His image, His power, and His beauty. The weight of peace and rest on this sea and in this place was an experience I will never forget. It was the most powerful stillness I’ve ever encountered and yet it was such a brief moment that I was there.

I wanted to share this with you because of what happened next. As I was taking in this peace and beauty the Lord said to me, “Did you know that you can bring this peace from heaven down to earth?”

After He spoke those words, I was immediately back in the room in Washington DC where we were worshiping and praying. I knew that we had the authority to take this weighty peace and see it come into the earthly realm.

We have received many warnings that when President Trump announces the Supreme Court nominee that it will be like a civil war in our streets and nation. But as many of us have prayed, we’ve felt peace that makes no sense in the midst of warnings. I felt that God was giving us permission to ask for the peace that resides in heaven (coming from His throne) to come upon Washington DC, upon our nation, and upon our households. It is like a blanket of peace that comes down to intercept the plans of the enemy.

It reminded me of how people with anxiety disorders will use a “weighted blanket” to calm them. This was like a heavenly weighted blanket that would bring peace and rest to the anxieties and fears that produce anger and violence. It holds supernatural peace and rest that calms the chaos.

From this encounter I feel that we can all begin to bring heaven to earth for the sake of our nations, for our households, for our individual lives. All sin that has been brought in repentance to Jesus, is cleansed by His blood and put under the “sea of forgetfulness.” Where there is absence of sin there is manifest peace and order. The Lord has put our sin into the sea of forgetfulness and given us this “sea of glass” (peace, rest, and stillness) in it’s place.

A remnant of His people have been repenting on behalf of the United States and bringing our sins before the throne of God to be washed by the blood of Jesus. Our sins are being thrown into the sea of forgetfulness and a “sea of glass”— His peace and presence is being offered in its place.

I don’t know how this will manifest on earth— possibly it will bring a distinction by resting on His Ecclesia (making us a refuge) or maybe it will stop the chaos and violence that the enemy is stirring up in our streets and cities? I only know that Jesus said, “You can bring this down to earth.”

I don’t want to interpret the full meaning but I do want to bring the experience to you so that you can enter in and add your faith to it. You can declare and ascend by the power of the Spirit in order to bring back this sovereign and weighty peace.

On earth as it is in Heaven!

Rosh Hashanah: 5781— The Crowning of the King and the Blood that Declares a Better Word

By Kathi Pelton

As you enter this Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, it is a time of new beginnings, renewed faith and breaking out of the old patterns that have hindered you so that you can embrace God’s perfect patterns and ways.

Rosh Hashanah means “Head of the Year.” It is the day that determines and sets into motion the rest of the year ahead. Just like our heads (minds, thoughts, decisions) determine our path and our actions so is it believed in the Jewish faith that this time determines the days ahead.

In 2019 I had a profound experience that began right before Rosh Hashanah when I heard the Spirit speak and say, “It’s coronation day.” I saw the Lord ask His bride to kneel before before Him and He was crowning her as His Queen. I knew that it was an “Esther moment” for the church where she would begin to walk in greater authority and favor. Because of this experience many believers throughout the world bowed before the King together to receive this coronation— the crowning of His queen.

Then, as we know— soon after Rosh Hashanah 2019 (5780), we began to hear the first reports out of China of a virus that had the name “Corona” within it; meaning crown. We paid little attention to it as it was so far from our shores and from our thoughts. But, within months it would change the entire world. I believe that the enemy is so threatened by the authority of God’s Bride that he devised a plan to stop and usurp the authority of the Ecclesia from establishing what God desired. But, as most of us know, this has severely backfired and the Church is rising up in greater global unity and authority than ever before. All I can say is, “Who can stop the Lord Almighty?”

As we approached Rosh Hashanah 2020 (September 18) I had another experience that was similar to the one I had in 2019, when the Son crowned His bride. This time I heard the words, “Coronation of the Son.” I immediately saw God’s people crowning Jesus as King of their lives, King of their nations and King of the universe.

Days after this experience I was on a Zoom call with a few of our international family members where I shared this experience. A Messianic Jewish man (Asher Intrater) was on the call with us and he began to explain to us that a key part of Rosh Hashanah is to proclaim God as “King of the Universe.” It is a coronation proclamation.

You can enter into this “Coronation of the Son” to begin this “Head of the Year” by proclaiming these words,

“Jesus, you are the only Savior, you alone are God, you are King of my life, you are King of the Earth, you are King of the Universe and you reign forever and ever.”

As you crown the Lord, King of your life at the head of the year, you are also proclaiming that you are the “head and not the tail” because you are His bride and His queen. His reign has given you authority to make decrees and proclamations that must be upheld. You can decree and it will be established when you do so from the place of bridal authority and from the power of His blood.

This new Hebrew year, 5781, means, “strong silence in the mouth.” To better understand what this means we can look at the blood of Jesus. Though no sound is heard, it is able to redeem, resurrect and restore.

“You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks a better word of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24

The blood of Jesus— though silent— speaks a better word! It speaks and establishes forgiveness, justice, truth and righteousness. As His blood poured down the cross and out upon the ground, it spoke of the greatest love and sacrifice that will ever be known to mankind. It declared that “whoever believes shall be saved and have eternal life!”

I believe that this year we are being called to enter into the “finished work of the cross” where the silent blood of Jesus speaks more loudly than any voice heard on earth. This silence represents an inner rest. It is a year to enter into His rest, even to strive to enter into His rest.

Though we have come out of the previous year (5780) far more aware of our weaknesses, more aware of our shortcomings and having wrestled with God which has left us with a limp— we will come up out of this wilderness leaning upon our Beloved.

“Who is this coming up from the wilderness leaning on her beloved?” Song of Solomon 8:5

To lean upon another is to depend on them, trust in their strength and to steady yourself with their uprightness. We are trusting in and resting in His faithfulness, goodness, righteousness, holiness, justice, mercy and grace. We are invited into cease striving so that we know that He alone is God and King of all. Do not overly concern yourself with your weaknesses or with your limp because “the greater the limp— the greater the leaning will be.” Lean into Him (and upon Him) like never before.

As we make Christ our resting place (not merely a place to visit but a place to dwell and call “home”) then in turn we become a resting place and dwelling place for Him. Isaiah 66:1 says,

This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?”

Then it goes on to say,

My hands have made both heaven and earth; they and everything in them are mine. I, the LORD, have spoken! “I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.”

As we proclaim Jesus as King of our lives and King of the universe— we are aligning our lives for a year of blessings, favor, prosperity and peace. Though the world rages in chaos and strife; God’s people will find rest, peace and blessings as they live in His reign and His favor.
