Oceans in the Desert

Yesterday I was sitting with a small group of people that I’m traveling with as we were preparing for the day. As we sat together the Spirit came into the room and we began to express that a particular brother in the Lord had been on all of our hearts that day. This man is a part of a team that we travel with and he had a financial need that needed to be met right away. We began praying for him and as we did I felt that I was to thank a couple that was in the room because I knew that they had sown financially into him out of their own need. Suddenly the Lord dropped on all of us in the room to sow financially into his breakthrough and said that it would bring our breakthrough as well.

A couple hours later one of our team members turned to me and said, “Kathi, have you sown your financial gift yet?” I had gotten busy after our prayer and not yet done it yet so I replied, “Not yet.” She said, “Your gift is the release.” Then it was like a swirl of angelic excitement filled the room and I knew I needed to sow a particular amount right away.

I pulled out my phone and went to his fundraiser page to sow. As soon as I entered the amount and pressed “send” my phone received a notification that I had in that exact moment received ten times that amount…to the penny! It was an amazing breakthrough moment. Our whole group knew that what we had done for this brother’s missions project was releasing breakthrough for our own ministry needs!

This is how the Kingdom works! Then I began to speak the words from Luke 6:38 aloud,

“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

We gave with such excitement and joy to see our brother’s breakthrough and it was not only returned in full but ten times more!

God’s ways are not the ways of men! “The amount you give will determine the amount you get back!” It’s so backwards and upside down from the ways of the world! It is time we turn the tables on the issue of lack and poverty. Let’s follow the way of the Kingdom of God that releases breakthrough for all.

Our little “giving party” yesterday is still having a ripple effect upon all involved; not only financially but spiritually and prophetically! The angels gathered around us with such excitement and I am so aware that they have been drawn to the atmosphere of heaven that was created on earth as we gave.

It’s time to overturn the tables of lack by aligning with the ways of the Kingdom…which is generosity! The world is what is upside down; not God’s ways. Recalibrate, realign and renew your mind with the perspective of heaven! Create an atmosphere of heaven on earth, where the angels gather and God opens the windows of heaven over you!

Luke 6:38 is the key to the outpouring of breakthrough and the atmosphere of heaven opening over your life!

“…I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” Malachi‬ ‭3:10-11‬ ‭
