Kathi Pelton
As I sat down to spend time with the Lord, I heard his quiet whisper come to me and say, “I am with you.”
My husband begins each day by bringing me coffee in bed and kissing the top of my head— it is his way of saying, “Honey, I am here for you every morning.” And the whisper from my Heavenly Father felt like a kiss on top of my head.
I began to think of all the people that may be facing hard things without a warm home or loving family around them. I thought of God’s sons and daughters who are feeling vulnerable and who might be fearful regarding something that they are facing. So— I just wanted to stop and take the time to write to you and tell you,
“He is with you!”
Psalm 34:18 assures us that, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
You are never alone and he is never far from you. He is there to help you and strengthen you. He loves you so very much. Every morning when you wake up, he is there to kiss the top of your head and to pour you a new cup of mercy and grace. He is with you.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Some of you may be facing fear or something that is making God seem far off. Fear can create a false narrative of being abandoned or being without help but no matter what you feel or what you are facing— HE IS WITH YOU. There are times that my soul (feelings/thoughts) try to take control and I have to speak to it and remind it to trust in the Lord. King David had to do this as well. In Psalm 43:5 he says,
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

In 2021, my precious younger brother died from complications of Covid. During his time in the hospital we would text each other back and forth (he was unable to talk on the phone due to his low oxygen). Almost every time he texted me, he would say, “Kathi, just praise Him” or, “Worship Him, for He is worthy.” He was reminding his soul and my soul to praise Him in the the storm and in the midst of the battle for his life. I believe that he left this earth praising the One who he put his trust in. That trust carried him home to the arms of the one who was always with him.
I will conclude with this— NOTHING can or ever will separate you from the love of God! He is with you now and forevermore. If your trust is in Him then you have a reason to praise.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
Not even death can separate you! Nothing! He wants you to hear His whisper today that says,
“I am with you— always!”
