May the Force of His Faithfulness Go Forth

by Kathi Pelton

There is a thief that is always seeking a way into your home in order to rob you and your family of peace, blessings, unity and prosperity. The devil prowls, looking for an entrance point that he can go in through. It seems as though he and his cohorts are more active than usual and the Lord told me that His people need to “establish their spiritual home security system”.

Then I saw in my spirit what looked like a red laser beam of light around a home that spelled out these words,

“… His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark…” Psalm 91:4

What is a “bulwark”? It is a defensive wall of protection.

Today is the day to install His bulwark around your life…declare His faithfulness around your life, your home and your loved ones. Remove every breach of doubt and unbelief and replace it with shouts that declare, “He is faithful!”

The red laser beam represents the blood of Jesus that has created a “blood line” of protection around your life and your home. The blood of Jesus will always declare His faithfulness! I see this “security system” installed by faith around businesses, ministries, churches, schools and even government buildings. The establishment of faith in His faithfulness will raise up a shield and wall of protection around these places that the thief has breached.

God is fortifying all that pertains to you and all of the blessings being sent upon you. As you declare His faithfulness, invite the angels to come and restore your blessings (all that was previously stolen) and to now be stationed round about your life, family and home.

“The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3

I am declaring over you that the unstoppable force of His faithfulness that was sealed by His blood will go forth on your behalf to guard you and all that pertains to you from everything that the enemy has sent against you!

His force is with you…happy May the Fourth!

Ask and You Shall Receive

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.Matthew 7:7

We are hearing reports from believers all over the world that are suddenly receiving answers to prayers they’ve prayed and are suddenly seeing doors open that they have been knocking on.

There is an acceleration in the spirit that is moving lives forward with great momentum. Though the wait has been long, the spiritual muscles of faith and prayers have been built up! It is as if the body of Christ has been like an runner preparing for the the biggest race of their lives. The training had been long and it has been brutal but it’s also been effective. The gun signaling the beginning of the race has gone off and the race has begun.

If you are still waiting then don’t stop asking and don’t stop knocking! I declare the following words over you today…

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

He will do it and He is faithful. The dawn is breaking to announce the new day!

On a Personal Note:

As our faithful readers know; many doors have been opening for our family. Not only Jeffrey and I but our grown children as well.

On May 29th through June 4th I will be traveling to Washington DC with our daughter and son-in-law to meet with a national team and ministry that is shifting the spiritual climate of our nation. It is called, “Awaken the Dawn” Please pray for us as we seek wisdom for decisions needing to be made in this new day.

We booked our tickets and lodging in Washington DC today. We are asking and knocking on that door of faith to release the full amount needed financially for this trip. It will cost us over $2,500.00 for this trip alone (we have numerous trips throughout the summer months).

If you would like to help fund this trip, please go to our ministry website homepage and click the donate button: https://www.inscribeministries.com/

We thank you and pray that as you sow into our answered prayers and acceleration that it will release the answers and acceleration you’ve been waiting for. May you move into all that God has prepared for you in the dawning of the new day.

Washington DC Open Door

We have yet another door that has opened for us!

Four of our family members, Jeffrey & I and Luke & Amy (our daughter and son-in-law) have been personally invited to join the Awaken the Dawn national team and family for five days in Washington DC beginning May 29th.

This trip will be a strategic time to connect with those who are walking with the Lord to see our nation turn back to God. We will be meeting with national, regional and state leaders to pray and hear from the Lord while establishing strong relationships that will bring unity and family ties.

Once again, we are inviting you into partnering with us regarding this sudden open door. We need to book plane tickets (we live on the West Coast), hotels, etc. right away. We are saying yes to this trip in faith. Will you add your faith and your yes (on our behalf) as well?

Let’s partner with God for the sake of our nation and for the sake of His Son receiving all the honor and glory that He deserves.

If you would like to partner with us by financially supporting us as we go to our nation’s capital, go to: https://www.inscribeministries.com/

We are deeply grateful for our readers and friends who stand with us as we give our yes to the Lord!

With Love and Thanks,

“MAYDAY, MAYDAY!!”

by Kathi Pelton

On May 1, 2002 my very first word was published on The Elijah List. This word was a “breaker-word” for our lives and ministry. As I awoke this morning, May 1, 2019 the Spirit reminded me of it and said, “Kathi, this is a full circle moment and that word is for now once again.”

Here is the word…a then and now word!

MAYDAY! MAYDAY!” May 1, 2002

On April 30 the Lord told me to pay attention to May Day which was May 1st. I watched and listened all that day but nothing significant seemed to happen.

—————————

THE SHIP, TOSSED VIOLENTLY

—————————

Then last night I was taken into a vision in the middle of the night to a ship that was being tossed violently upon a very turbulent sea. It was very dark and the fog bank was so thick that you could not see a foot in front of you. As I was taken closer to the ship I could see that it had been storm tossed for some time now.

This ship was lost at sea. There was no way for the crew to find its way back to where it had come and yet it couldn’t see ahead to know where it was going. It seemed to be at the mercy of the storm which looked as though it would never end.

Nothing was secure upon this ship, everything was being tossed into the sea except the crew. Then I was taken into the ship where I saw one of the crew on the communications radio saying over and over, “Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!” I heard no response.

———————————–

THE LORD WAS ASKING ME TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE DISTRESS CALL

———————————–

At this point I came out of the vision and realized that the Lord wasn’t asking me to pay attention to “May Day” (The date, May 1st) but He was asking me to pay attention to the distress call, “Mayday, mayday!”

I asked the Lord what this meant and He told me that many lives and ministries had recently been in the middle of a storm. Their vision had been blocked and their lives and plans tossed upon the rough sea. They had used up every means of self effort to find their way back to safety but the storm and lack of vision had left them lost at sea.

The Lord said that He has heard our distress calls. He has heard our call to Him, “Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!”

—————————-

RESCUE HOST IS ON THEIR WAY

—————————-

Though we do not yet see it, a rescue host is on their way. God has commissioned a great rescue host to come to us with all the provision to get us to safe harbor. This harbor will not be where we started because we can not go back there but it will be a new place, with new ships, new cargo, new crew members, new scenery, new life.

It was necessary to have everything tossed into the sea in order for the “New Order” to come. We have new orders and this host will bring to each one of us those orders. We have new passages that we have not known about but these will also be revealed to us.

We will have new vision, clearer vision.

We have new provisions that are on there way, provisions that we have not known of because they are not coming by “our efforts” but by His grace and help.

Our distress call has been heard…help is on the way.

Proverbs 16:9 “The mind of man plans his ways but the Lord orders his steps.”

Your Persistent Prayers Will Open the Door of Breakthrough

by Kathi Pelton

The other day we were blessed by having a team from YWAM (Youth With a Mission) come to our home to pray and prophesy over us as we face many transitions. During this precious time we put our daughter’s dog out on our deck. She was not a happy dog to be kept away from all of the excitement so she began scratching at our glass door. She scratched and scratched and scratched.

Her scratching began to become like the sound of fingernails going down a chalkboard. She was persistently pleading with her paws,

“Open the door, open the door, OPEN THE DOOR!”

I began to feel myself getting annoyed with her. I was about to get up to open the door to answer her persistent request when I suddenly heard the Holy Spirit speak to me,

“This puppy is like the story of the persistent widow who came before the unjust judge. Her persistence finally wore Him down and he granted her request. Persistent prayer will open the door for you.”

The story of the persistent widow goes like this,

Luke 18:1-8

Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’

“He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to himself, ‘I care nothing what God thinks, even less what people think. But because this widow won’t quit badgering me, I’d better do something and see that she gets justice—otherwise I’m going to end up beaten black-and-blue by her pounding.’”

Then the Master said, “Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”

God is just, He is full of love and He WILL “stick up for you” against injustices. Though your trials may seem to drag on, your faith and persistent prayers are creating an atmosphere that bruises the enemy. Your prayers are not being ignored but they are doing a deep work in your life and character while shifting the atmosphere around your life as well.

I began to see our glass door, that was being scratched upon, as the enemy’s head. Our dog would not be dissuaded by the door that blocked her from her desire. Like the persistent widow, whose requests were like bruises upon this judge, so are our continual prayers bruising the enemy.

I hear the Spirit saying,

“The door will be opened for you!”

God is not ignoring you or deaf to your prayers but knows the perfect time to open the door for you. Though it feels like you’ve been left out in the cold (without your desired answer), suddenly and at the appointed time the door will open and you will enter with great joy.

Do not stop praying. Do not stop knocking at the door before you and do not believe the lie that God is ignoring your request. You are scratching, bruising and tearing down the lie that “God is not faithful” and defeating the persistent enemy that taunts His sons and daughters with accusations of being orphans. Abandonment is not possible for the sons and daughters of God. He will never leave nor forsake you! You will see the faithfulness of God come to your aid.

I will finish with the truth and encouragement from Romans 5:1-5,

“Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

You are being changed through your persistence and patience. You will never be the same and when the door opens you will walk through it as a different person…as the person He created you to be.

He dearly loves us!

It’s Time To Be Awakened!

by Kathi Pelton

For the past month I have been having the Lord take me back to the memories, the songs, the stories and the beauty of when I first knew came to know Jesus as my Savior. It truly was a “first love” encounter; I was experiencing such excitement, hope, joy and I was being overwhelmed with awe as I experienced new life.

I remember often saying to myself and those around me in those early days of knowing Jesus that I was sure that God was “cheating for me!” I would say that because He was continually rescuing me from my own lack of understanding, lack of knowledge and lack of wisdom. It was like having a jealous lover nearby all the time who would not let me go astray but pursued me day and night with such a lavishing of His love. His love overwhelmed me and caused me want to pursue Him with the same intensity that He was pursuing me with.

The gospel was such good news to me and I couldn’t get enough of it. The simplicity of His grace and the depths of His love that saved me was my breath and my song. The week that I fully gave my life to the Lord was the same week that I met my husband. During that first year of walking with Jesus I was in the midst of a double portion of “first love.” Everything was new and every day was marked by the excitement of newly discovered love.

It’s been 36 years since that time and there have been seasons where that love became too familiar to me; with both the Lord and my amazing husband. In those times I have chosen love and chosen covenant but felt far from the place of “first love.” Dreaming became more difficult and my “yes” to God became more of a default answer than a passion to pursue Him more.

If we are not careful, time can produce a sort of lethargy that numbs passion and weakens love. We can become familiar with the sound of His voice and lose the way that it once took our breath away. We can become familiar with His presence to the point that the awe of “God with us” is lost. But there are depths and mysteries yet to be discovered in His love.

During this past month I have sensed an awakening happening. It is as if the prince has arrived to kiss Sleeping Beauty and awaken her to first love once again. I sense the kiss of God coming upon His Bride that will break the spell of slumber and the dullness of familiarity off of her so that she becomes alive and in love once again.

I have had many moments over the past few weeks that I feel the excitement of first love the way I did when I was an 18 year old new believer. The simplicity of His grace and wonder of His love feels so near; almost like I’ve come full circle back to the place that I once began. I have a sense that I will be saying to myself (and many of you will be saying to yourselves), “God is cheating for me!” For He will once again surprise you with what He does and how He moves on your behalf.

We will stand in awe of His pursuit and we will not be able to hold back from telling others about the One that we love and how well He loves us. He will overwhelm you with how He moves and how He causes your “Yes” to be from a place of deep desire rather than daunting duty.

One of my friends and I keep saying to each other (since mid-February) that we feel like Alice in Wonderland…we’ve gone down the rabbit hole and find ourselves living in a continuous journey of “awe and wonder” once again. Of course there are still trials that we face and days of difficulties but they are continually being overcome by “signs and wonders” that we aren’t even looking for.

There are themes that we will see emerging in these days such as first love, awe, awakening, full circle, signs and wonders and convergences. This awakening will be a renewal; a renewal of love, of youthfulness, of passion and of strength.

Isaiah 40 has stood out to me and the end of it is part of this awakening,

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah‬ ‭40:29-31‬ ‭

It is time to run again! It is time to receive first love’s kiss that will awaken you to an “all things new” season. What joy we will feel once again!

Mercy Is Falling Upon You!

by Kathi Pelton

As I waited on the Lord I began to hear the words, “Mercy is falling, mercy is falling!” Then I saw what looked like a waterfall of mercy coming from the mercy seat of God. It was pouring down upon those who were crying out for mercy.

God’s mercy is a powerful and amazing gift that comes out of His love and compassion upon those who deserve judgement. It is defined like this:

Mercy: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.

“For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” James 2:13

I then saw people who were relentlessly being accused by the enemy; even of things that had actually occurred (legitimate accusations but ones that had been covered in the blood of Jesus). They were overcome with regret, guilt, remorse and deep sorrow. They were bowed down begging the Lord for mercy and the Lord’s great compassion met their cry. He bent down to comfort and have mercy upon them.

The mercy seat is sprinkled with the blood of the Lamb and I saw those that were bend down suddenly being before the mercy seat where the blood of Jesus brought forth forgiveness, compassion, and redemption. The waterfall of mercy was flowing and washing away regrets, guilt, and judgement. The accusations suddenly were “thrown out” and silenced because mercy was triumphing with victory over judgement.

His mercy was releasing divine help needed to redeem circumstances that were caused by past actions that created hardships and a heavy yoke that weighed down upon people. True repentance was bringing great freedom upon lives spiritually and overflowing to touch natural circumstances.

There is mercy flowing down from the mercy seat of God for you right now. It is the blood of the Lamb that has provided mercy and grace for those who will come before Him in surrender and humility.

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” Romans‬ ‭3:23-26‬ ‭

Oh, how amazing is the blood of Jesus that washes away our sins and is the justifier for those who have faith in Him!

He Will Do It Again! Let Hope Arise!

by Kathi Pelton

The Lord showed me His heart for many of you who are in the grip of impossible situations that seek to steal your faith and rob you of hope. I experienced His heart and it is filled with love and compassion for you. I then began to hear the words to the song, “Do It Again” that say,

“I’ve seen You move, come move the mountains

And I believe, I’ll see You do it again

You made a way, where there was no way

And I believe, I’ll see You do it again”

Heaven was singing words of faith over those whose faith is even now being tested. It was like a choir of those who had gone before us reminding God’s people of the miracles He has done and the mountains that He has moved. They were declaring over you, “He will do it again!”

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forevermore! His promises never fail and His faithfulness is sure! There is an invitation into the song of faith that declares, “He will do it again!” Though your emotions may be experiencing fear and pain, let your spirit arise with the unfailing hope that does not disappoint! The worship that is released in the midst of the impossibilities and pain change the atmospheres and bring honor to God in a mighty way.

Faith is not an emotion, it is a conviction and a choice. Circumstances and emotions will try to pull you to a place that usurps truth and silences the sounds of praise but faith scales that mountain and stands on top of it to declare His faithfulness! It cries out with the sound of the redeemed and says, “He will do it again!”

Let your mountain cause your faith and your hope to arise with a sound that brings honor and glory to the One that is worthy of it all. Let your impossible circumstances cause your faith to be strengthened and your soul to be tamed by the declaration of hope!

Do not hold back! Let faith arise, let hope arise and let the sound of worship surround the mountain that stands before you. Train your soul to respond to truth rather than fear. Remember, the testing of your faith produces Christ in you.

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

Lacking nothing! Enter into the fullness of the One who lacks nothing and let Him move in you and for you! His faithfulness has gone before you and surrounds you even now!

It’s A Good Friday To Have A Passover!

by Kathi Pelton

For only the second time this century, Good Friday and the first night of Passover will coincide. While Christians around the world will be remembering the “Lamb that was slain” to set us free from the captivity of slavery to sin, the Jews will be gathering around that table to remember the blood of the lamb that was put upon the doorposts and their freedom from the captivity of Egyptian slavery.

For months the word, “convergence” has been coming out of my mouth as I witness divine convergences emerging everywhere. Yet, the greatest convergence ever known to mankind is that which converged the hopeless depravity of man (and sin) with the perfect hope of the shed blood of Jesus that cleanses our sin. His blood has become our freedom from captivity and slavery!

When we read about the terrible conditions that the Jewish people endured, enslaved in Egypt for 400 years, it is almost unthinkable. From heavy labor in despicable conditions, to the killing of their first born sons, they had all but lost hope.

Sin is the same kind of slavery! It causes men and women to take on such a heavy load (yoke) and brings death to every good thing. Sin causes even the most wealthy to live in vile conditions from which no money can set them free.

Good Friday is the day we remember the price that was paid, not in money, but in blood and in love, to set us free. It cost Him everything and cost us nothing but our “Yes!” We will declare, “I believe and I receive the blood that sets me free.”

Let us pray for the Jewish people around the world, that today as they sit down for their Passover meal that their eyes would be opened to see the true Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ. As these two days that represent freedom from captivity converge, let us declare over all who are still in slavery to sin and the captivity of the world: FREEDOM!

Roar out the good news! Don’t hold back but allow the sound of freedom and the sound of salvation become the sound of chains falling to the floor. Roar it over your family, roar it over your city, roar it over your nation, and roar it over all of creation!

“Jesus answered them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.’” John‬ ‭8:34-36‬ ‭

The blood that was shed by our Messiah became the ink that signed our adoption papers. We are no longer slaves but now we are sons. Our “yes” and His blood become the grace that puts us in family and restores to us the full inheritance of a son, and to the Son His full inheritance in us.

This is a very Good Friday! Our Passover Lamb has redeemed us and sets us free from the slavery of sin. May His blood be placed upon the “doorpost” of every person that has yet to come to the knowledge of the cross. Pray and decree the blood of the Lamb over all that you are carrying.

The blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their life and over your life!

“You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24

Today there is a better word being spoken over your life and over your loved ones. Where you have cried out for vengeance begin to cry out for the blood that speaks forgiveness and releases the new covenant. There is power in the blood!

Misunderstood? Misrepresented? Mistreated? You Are Becoming More Like Jesus!

by Kathi Pelton

The prayer in John 17:21 is one of my life verses because I want to see the longing of Jesus fulfilled.

“…that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

God created us to enjoy the riches of oneness with God and with one another. There are such beautiful blessings found in unity but first we must receive the invitation to “be in Him” and become a true representation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Because we were created for this oneness and unity it makes it all the more painful and disorienting when we are misunderstood , misrepresented and mistreated within the body of Christ. People write to me all the time telling me the stories of the heartache and pain they have experienced within the family of God. It truly breaks my heart that we have yet to see the prayer of Jesus fulfilled (out of John 17:21) and yet I have hope because I see a remnant rising up!

The truth is that we must first come into the oneness that the Father, Son and Spirit share before we will experience that with one another. There is a yielding to “oneness with Christ” that causes our souls to heal and align with His truth and His ways.

Today, a friend who is going through one of these “family trials”, said to me that she realized that the warfare and pain of betrayal was being “exalted” above Jesus in her mind and emotions. That is always what the enemy seeks to do! He wants to rob God of worship by robbing us of our focus on Him. He also wants to rob Jesus of the answer to His prayer.

Lastly, the enemy loves to divide family because it is in those divisions that men most readily begin to erect walls against intimacy and love. Family betrayal is the worst kind of pain. Yet God says that we are to “count it all joy when we face various trials.”

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

These trials test our faith but produce the very things that we need to “lack nothing.” They make us like Jesus who lacks nothing! He, too, was misunderstood, misrepresented and mistreated but His love never wavered and His walked it out perfectly. His truth infuriated the Pharisees but His love attracted the sinner. May we become like Him.

It is true that there will be some people who claim to be a brother or sister in Christ but even when you speak the truth in absolute love, they will still accuse you, misrepresent you and slander you. Even so, you count it all joy to pick up your cross and follow Him. In those times you must shake the dust off and move forward without compromising truth or love. We must please God even when we are misunderstood by men.

So, if you have been facing trials that test your faith then count it all joy and know that what is being produced in you will cause you to lack nothing! You are becoming like Jesus as you continue to exult Him over the warfare and accusations.

He is worth it all!
