Keys, Mysteries and Purification

by Kathi Pelton

At the beginning of the year the Lord told me that 2019 would be a “Year of Demarcation.” I knew that February would be a significant month that highlighted moments of demarcation. Beginning 2/12 to 2/22 there was a significant shift, moving the body of Christ into a greater authority that will expose things hidden in darkness, bring forth light, open and close doors, and see both mercy and judgement released.

There are three Scriptures that the Spirit of the Lord highlighted to me. All three of the verse references have the numbers 222 within them.

They are Isaiah 22:22, Daniel 2:22 and Revelation2:22. Let’s look at them and then begin to unpack them a bit.

“I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.” ‭Isaiah‬ ‭22:22‬ ‭

“He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.” Daniel‬ ‭2:22‬ ‭

“So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.” Revelation‬ ‭2:22‬ ‭

In Isaiah 22:22 we see a key of authority given that can open and shut doors. We have entered a time of possessing the keys of authority to shut doors that the enemy has held open to bring about demonic laws, agendas, deceptions, defilements, and darkness; these doors will begin to close through the power of prayer and the authority of Jesus Christ given to the church. The word “Holiness” will be written upon these keys.

The authority that comes to those who will follow His ways and walk in His truths (not adding or subtracting from His Word) will receive keys of authority such as Jesus had when He walked on earth.

“To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give authority over all the nations. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots. They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star!” Revelation‬ ‭2:26-28‬

“They will have the same authority…” Incredible!

Daniel 2:22 is upon us as God is revealing deep and hidden things: both truths and deceptions. He is using the most unlikely men and women to bring this about! In the midst of deep darkness His light will be revealed. The enemy’s “underbelly” will be exposed; shields that have protected and hidden satanic strongholds will suddenly be removed, allowing the light to penetrate the darkness. The enemy will be found vulnerable and exposed in many ways and arenas.

Lastly, Revelation 2:22 deals with the spirit of Jezebel. In this chapter the Church of Thyatira is rebuked for “tolerating that woman- Jezebel.” Verse 22 not only brings judgement upon this spirit of deception and defilement, but it calls those who have joined with her into repentance or they will also be judged.

This is a time that we are seeing this spirit exposed (judged) and “those who have joined with with her” given a chance to repent. It is very sobering because it says that those who do not repent will suffer greatly. How merciful it is of our God to offer a time of repentance. This is His mercy because He does not desire to bring judgement.

The end result of this purification, exposure of darkness, and closing doors will be the return of “Holiness unto the Lord” upon His bride.

We will see righteousness, mercy, light, purity, truth, integrity, and the fear of the Lord come upon the church, and this will result in great authority that replaces the kingdom of darkness and deception with the Kingdom of light and of truth.

This is a time of demarcation that is removing the filthy garments from God’s priests as we see in Zechariah 3. We pray for mercy to triumph over judgement and for the fear of the Lord and holiness unto the Lord to come upon His bride.

The Great Power Released Through Praise. Sing Out, “Great Are You Lord!”

by Kathi Pelton

Rare is the time that I am not filled with great courage when I am exalting the Lord! Singing His name and declaring His nature releases an infusion of confident assurance and fearlessness as I am intimately connected to who He is. Worship will lift me from the earthly realm, with all that weighs me down, to the heavenly place that I was created for.

“For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6

We are seated in heavenly places, united with Christ! The greatness of the Lord is united to us and dwells within us. The God who created the heavens and the earth, who put the stars in the sky and keeps all of the universe working together is united to us. Worship ushers us into that reality and experience. His power and goodness never leaves us or forsakes us but worship causes our souls to join with heavenly truth and from there we declare, “Great are you Lord!”

I think that we often forget the unfathomable and surpassing greatness of our God throughout the hours of the day as we get busy with the mundane tasks. We go out into the world more aware of our weakness then we are of His greatness. There is not a single day, let alone a single second that we are not united to the One who sits upon the throne of grace. All power, all honor, all majesty and all that is in heaven and earth belongs to Him.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth…”Matthew 28:18

Yet, this God who holds all creation in His hands and whom all authority belongs to also cares about every detail of our lives. It is beyond comprehension to imagine this truth. How can His love span such vast horizons and still reach down to personally connect with every detail of our individual lives? It leaves me undone to realize that He values me so greatly. It causes me to release the words, “Great are you Lord!” Trying to understand this kind of love is beyond what our greatest moments of imagination can fathom. Our understanding of human love cannot touch this kind of agape love.

How is it that we are intimately united to this King of Glory? Why do we still tremble at the storms of life? How can it be that we still doubt or question if He sees us or knows our needs? This God who holds all things together also holds our lives His hands. I stand in awe in the face of such love and kindness.

Not only does He have authority over all but through this uniting with Him we too have authority. We have His Spirit living in us! This is the very power that raised Jesus from the dead and we are united to the power of His Spirit as well.

That is why we shout, “Great are you, Lord!”. That is why can be brave, courageous and strong…it is because we have been united to Him!

Prophets of Purity

by Kathi Pelton

There is an emerging company of “prophets of purity” who will speak, write, create, dance and sing with an anointing of purity. They will be those who have yielded to the deep preparation of purification. This anointing of purity will break defilement off of people, families and nations. What they release will be like a baptism in water for the recipients as they are saturated with the purity of heaven and the washing of the Spirit. It will restore lives to the fear of the Lord and the holiness of the Lord.

There is a beauty that this purity releases which will reveal Christ in His true (pure) nature;!ushering in the holiness of the Lord. These prophets of purity will witness what they speak, write, create or sing bringing forth the power of the blood of Jesus that washes away sin and stain.

It will be like Zechariah 3 when Joshua the high priest had his filthy garments changed sovereignly. What they release will have the authority, through the purity anointing, to rebuke the accuser and to restore the son or daughter. This will be an anointing that has the power to restore, cleanse and release the glory of the Lord.

The anointing of purity will not come through the works of man or his strength or his goodness but through humility, surrender and from those who have taken the posture of Mary in Luke 1:38 when she is visited by the angel of the Lord announcing that she will conceive a child by the power of the Holy Spirit and she responds by saying, “Be it unto me according to your word.”

There has been a deep testing for these yielded ones. They have faced many trials as an invitation to come into deep humility and purity. They have been refined by fire and bowed down at His feet in the fear of the Lord. There is a posture of praise and the exultation of Jesus that they will walk in and release that continually brings men and women back to the place where they enthrone Jesus in His rightful place…over all and in all.

The purity anointing will bring forth pure oil that can be received by those around them. This pure oil will be the oil that lights the lamps of the five wise virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. Each time they speak, write, create, dance or sing they will present their lives like a white, blank canvas for the Creator of heaven and earth to paint upon as He pleases.

They are submitted servants, teachable children, humble, transparent men and woman who are connected to the body (not independent islands) and who have spent many hours in the place of intercession, worship and the Word. They will live the wisdom written in the Book of Proverbs. This is not a “suddenly” anointing; it must be paid for through preparation and sacrifice. Purity does not come apart from testing and a process. It is different than being washed clean through the forgiveness of Jesus. This “purity anointing” takes time and pressing.

I believe that we have entered a time that we will now see these pure ones revealed and what they carry will benefit the body in ways rarely seen before this time. It goes far beyond gifting! It is an anointing that supersedes even profound giftings.

If you are going through deep testing, fire, purging and preparation; know this…remain in that place! It is His love that desires to purify you so that a fresh outpouring will come to you and through you. Surrender and yield to this work. The crushing will produce pure, fresh oil that anoints you with purity.

The Beauty of Tears Offered As Praise

Kathi Pelton

Last night my husband and I sat with four young people that we love deeply. A couple of them were experiencing profound pain, so we put aside the night’s “agenda” and we sat with them, held their hands, held them and then all six of us began to weep together. We wept with deep intercession and tender love. Jesus was so present there weeping with us.

Then the young man began began to offer his pain as praise declaring, “You are worthy of my praise in the midst of pain.” His tears became drops of worship like the costly perfume offered over the feet of Jesus by Mary. The pain in the room was so real but the praise offered in the midst of the pain released a sweet aroma that filled the room with His presence and beauty.

We were all undone as we entered into the hope and the offering of praise in the face of pain.

Romans 12:15 says,

“Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.”

We have become well-acquainted with both weeping and rejoicing with the ones that we love. We know that pain lasts a night but “joy comes in the morning.” Sometimes the nights are long but surely morning will come and then together we will rejoice.

All too often we are quick to try to “cheer someone up” rather than merely sit with them while they let their tears flow. What if we stopped and wept with them with no answers or words? If we would do this we would probably experience what we witnessed last night: a time where in the midst of pain the alabaster jar is broken and the costly perfume of praise that was formed in the pain is poured out upon His feet. Each one of us entered into the weeping and then received the anointing of the perfume that was released.

The words, “Nothing is wasted, nothing is wasted…” were whispered through the tears and I want you to know: your pain is not wasted, your tears aren’t falling upon the ground but rather upon His feet. Not one is wasted.

Jesus wept!

He weeps with you and turns the tears and pain offered as praise into an oil that anoints His feet and fills the atmosphere with the sweetest and most costly fragrance. Because the offering out of pain is far more costly.

For those who are in a “night of weeping”—let it flow out until it intermingles with His presence where it will becomes a sacrifice of praise that fills the room. It is so beautiful.

Going Deeper

by Kathi Pelton

There is an insatiable thirst that is present in the lives of God’s people that causes them to run after Him with a desperate abandonment. It is like a man on a desert road in the scorching sun who begins to thirst. He will go to any lengths to get a drink and when he finally does he will drink deeply. Thirst is a gift because it causes us to search for Him like a man in search of water. There are times that seem as if the drink that we so desperately desire evades our reach. But it is in those times that room is made in the depths of our souls for drinking deep.

In Luke 5 we find Simon frustrated from a long night of fishing with no results. He is tired, empty handed and though it does not say he was desperate, one can imagine the desperation he felt after having no results or pay off for all of his work. In verse 4 the Lord addresses Simon saying,

“Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”

Desperation causes us to do what we wouldn’t do if we had been given what we had wanted in our first attempt. Simon responded to the Lord’s request and went out once again. He threw his nets into the deep waters and found more than he could ask or imagine when he pulled in his nets.

There have been many times in my life when I feel as though I have worked through a long night season only to come up short and it is in those times that the Lord speak similar words to me,

“Daughter, go deeper. Throw yourselves into the depths of My love and watch what you draw in.”

Then, like Simon, who fell on his knees before the Lord, I find myself in a new awareness of how great His love is toward me and I fall on my knees before Him once again. When I once again drink deep of His love I begin to experience the manifestation of Psalm 42:7,

“Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.”

Once again my heart finds courage and I am given a renewed boldness to run after Him knowing that with every step I am drawn into greater depths. I cry out the words from Romans 11:33 that say,

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!”

Hunger and thirst is a gift. Desperation and pain is a gift. Longing and waiting is a gift. Even hope deferred can be a gift because it is there that we are invited into the deep places and can experience the unsearchable and unfathomable ways of His love. Desire fulfilled is far more beautiful to the desperately thirsty soul than it is to the satisfied soul. He is calling you deeper…and deeper still. Let Him draw you into the deep waters where you will find a love beyond comprehension.
