Oceans in the Desert

On Sunday, March 31st, my husband and I were given a financial gift and amazing prophetic word. The word was that the gift was the key to open doors…many doors. The Lord had us use this financial gift to open our ministry’s new bank account that will fund the open doors. As we opened the account the 25-year old bank account specialist began to open up her heart to us and we immediately had an open door into her life and spent two hours ministering to her. We knew that this was a “first fruits of the open doors.”

Then, yesterday on 4/4 (the fourth letter of the modern Hebrew alphabet is dalet and means “door.”), I had a call with a leader from a national ministry that suddenly became another open door. God opened the door for me to go to Boston and Rhode Island next week with some of the Awaken the Dawn national leadership team to join them with meetings in those areas. I had asked the Lord for confirmation prior to the call about converging with them and the confirmation came in the most personal and prophetic way (I won’t share the details but I was literally speechless).

Then, the Lord spoke to me and said that He was going to raise up people to partner with Him to fund this “last minute” trip (as you know, plane ticket fares go up a lot when you book them right before a trip). Within 4-hours the full amount for two plane tickets came in. I thought that I would be going with my husband but the Lord spoke to me and said, “Ask your daughter, Amy.”

It made no sense to me why He was asking this but I obeyed. When I asked her she immediately responded with a yes and reminded me that one year ago she received a prophetic word that said,

“The Lord will send you to Boston in 2019.”

Prophecy fulfilled! I had totally forgotten about this.

Later that afternoon, I sat to write my very first check out of our new ministry bank account (for open doors) to cover the plane tickets and as I signed the check a notification alert came on my phone and one of my dearest friends had sent me a screenshot that was 4:44 on 4/4. I had written the check for our first open door out of our “open door account” on 4/4 at 4:44!! You can’t make this stuff up!!

I wanted to share this with you because we often hear prophetic words but don’t often hear the testimonies that fulfill them. I want to encourage you in this time of open doors and suddenlies. God is on the move!
