For many days now I have been hearing the word, “Echo.” Of a matter of fact I hear it and see it so often that it has now become like an echo in my ears. When I hear a word that repetitively I must stop and ask the Lord, “What are you saying?” So I did.
As I waited upon the Lord I was first led to look up the meaning of the word.
Echo: a repetition of sound produced by the reflection of sound waves from a wall, mountain, or other obstructing surface. a sound heard again near its source after being reflected.
When sound hits a hard surface or obstruction an echo is created as the sound waves bounce back near the source— we truly seem to have hit a mountain or obstruction globally and it is causing a great echo.
As I prayed I was taken to Hebrews 11 and heard the words,
“The echo of faith from the saints of old, who believed in Yahweh, has joined with the faith of those who believe today. The sound of old and sound of the new has become one clear echo which is a battering ram against the opposition that seeks to kill, steal and destroy. Mountains will come down!”
Hear are some of the words from Hebrews 11,
“All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth.” Hebrews 11:13
The great cloud of witnesses are watching the faith that they stood in long ago and the faith that we stand in converge as a sound that will echo through the earth today and through eternity. The intermingling of their faith and our faith is creating a frequency of sound that will break the barriers! It is the sound of those who stood in faith, walked by faith, persevered in faith and by faith took down mountains!
Let faith arise in this hour! Let it arise like never before. Grab hold of the same faith that Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob lived and died in! Let it become intermingled with your faith and the sound of your “yes.” Break the sound barrier of accusation and opposition and may the echo bring the fortified wall tumbling down as in the days of Jericho.
Pray, worship, prophesy, declare His Word aloud and let your feet go forth in faith! Release the sound of faith!
There will be another sound that echoes through the land and that is the sound of the enemy armies crying out in distress,
“The nations will hear of your devastating defeat. your cries of distress will echo throughout the earth. In the panic of their flight one soldier will trip over another and both of them will fall down defeated.” Jeremiah 46:12
Jesus already secured our victory! We know the end of the story and though we see the nations raging and darkness is seen on the earth— the faith of the saints of old and the faith that you live by will echo throughout eternity and will be a battering ram against the armies of darkness. His defeat is as sure as your victory.
Stir up faith. Don’t hide, don’t back down and don’t be found silent. Let the sound of the men and women of faith be heard throughout the earth!

For the past several weeks I have been hearing this phrase in my spirit,
“Gideon’s remnant army is arising!”
In Judges 7 we read the story of Gideon’s army. The backdrop to this story is that the Israelites had done evil in the sight of the Lord so they had been handed over to the Midianites for seven years. The Midianites were extremely cruel and oppressed the Israelites so severely that they had taken to hiding in mountains and caves. The Lord summoned Gideon to call forth warriors to face the Midianites. As they prepared to fight them this is what the Lord said,
“You have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength.” Judges 7:2
God was not only dealing with the Midianites that had oppressed the Israelites but He was also dealing with the false gods and worship of Baal that had been taking place within the Israelites. God was about to show that He alone is the deliverer and it is His power that sets the captives free.
Before we return to the story of Gideon’s army— is this story beginning to sound like a picture of what we are facing? A nation that has gone from “In God We Trust” to calling darkness “light” and evil “good.” Our nation flies rainbow flags that represent our turning to depravation and deception with great pride while they burn our own flag that once represented freedom and a nation that humbled themselves to trust in God. Cruelty and oppression is seen throughout our land against God’s people. We are censored and many are hiding in caves.
Back to the story—
After God reduced Gideon’s army to a mere 300 men (to face a vast and mighty Midianite force), He instructs them to go to their camp in the middle of the night only armed with clay pots that hide the light of their “blazing” torches and ram horns. These are not exactly the weapons of warfare we’d expect or the number of men needed to be victorious. God had reduced Gideon’s army from approximately 32,000 to a mere 300 men while the Midianite army was so vast that they were like the sands of the seashore— to many to count!
The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.” Judges 7:7
Here is what happens next,
“Gideon divided the 300 men into three groups and gave each man a ram’s horn and a clay jar with a torch in it. Then he said to them, “Keep your eyes on me. When I come to the edge of the camp, do just as I do. As soon as I and those with me blow the rams’ horns, blow your horns, too, all around the entire camp, and shout, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’”” Judges 7:16-18
Gideon and his group of 100 men went out first to the edge of the Midianite’s camp and they blew their ram’s horns and broke their clay jars revealing the light of their torches. This signaled the two other groups of 100 men to follow.
“Then all three groups blew their horns and broke their jars. They held the blazing torches in their left hands and the horns in their right hands, and they all shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” Each man stood at his position around the camp and watched as all the Midianites rushed around in a panic, shouting as they ran to escape. When the 300 Israelites blew their rams’ horns, the Lord caused the warriors in the camp to fight against each other with their swords. Those who were not killed fled to places as far away as Beth-shittah near Zererah and to the border of Abel-meholah near Tabbath.” Judges 7:20-22
I believe that this story is a picture of what God will do in this hour. It appears as if the body of Christ is facing an enemy army that is so vast that they cannot be numbered. It also seems as though there is a mere remnant that has not departed in fear. What is left is but a “remnant.” Our weapons are absolute foolishness in the eyes of men but God will give us victory in the darkness of night with the blazing torch of Christ and the sound of the shofar and our shout, “For the Lord and for His Bride!”
The modern day Midianites will turn on themselves in fear and God will give a victory that no man can take credit for! It will not be by the strength of men but by the power of God!
It is interesting that every time I see the word “Midianite” the word, “Mediaites” replaces it. The media has become a vast army that oppresses God’s people. They lie, deceive and create a false narratives that controls the listeners. But watch as God gives victory over the “Media-ites!”
Our numbers do not matter! We may appear outnumbered but God and His heavenly hosts are with us. I hear the words from 2 Kings 6:16 declared over us,
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
We carry the blazing torch of truth and light in our left hand and the horn that sounds the declaration of “Yahweh!” in our right hand. The time is approaching where the clay jars will break and the torch will blaze for all to see. The time is coming for the sound of the ram’s horn and the shout of the remnant army to come forth that will grip the enemy’s camp with such fear that victory will come without ever entering into the battle.
There is a Civil War happening in the streets of America. It is the mobs against the cops, blue against red, law against lawlessness— but it is the remnant army that will receive the victory! Our voice will be heard and it will strike fear into the hearts of the wicked. The oppressor will not prevail and tyranny will not triumph! Gideon’s army will once again emerge with victory.

As I woke up this morning and began to wait upon the Lord it was like an audible song began to play in the atmosphere around me (although no music was actually playing). I immediately recognized the words to the song, “All Who Are Thirsty”— here are the words that I was hearing,
All who are thirsty All who are weak Come to the fountain Dip your heart in the stream of life Let the pain and the sorrow Be washed away In the waves of His mercy As deep cries out to deep (we sing) Come Lord Jesus come
As these words flowed like a stream of refreshing water through my soul I clicked on Facebook and the first post to show was from a precious prophetic friend who wrote a post about rest and concluded with this scripture,
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”” Matthew 11:28-30
Throughout the time of quarantine and even through the past weeks of great unrest in our nation I have felt constant strength and grace to run the race and press into all that the Lord was asking and doing. I have had a tremendous grace upon my life throughout this ever-changing season. But about two weeks ago a weariness began to hit my soul. Because we live in the Washington DC region I wondered if it was just the spiritual atmosphere from so much continuous warfare over our nation or if it was something personal? Either way— I was weary!
I decided to press and stand against the weariness and yet the more the more weary I became. It was as if burdens too heavy to carry would come upon me and they would weary me even more. Then I watched it hitting others around me…such a deep, heavy weariness!
Then, last night we had some new friends over to our home and during our time together our gentleman guest began to minister to our daughter regarding the subject of weariness. He told her a story about surfing and learning to rest after the long, hard paddle out to where the waves are good. He said that he had to learn to rest after the exhausting paddle because if he tried to catch a wave while weary from the trek to deeper waters then the wave would end up taking him under. But— when he’d take the time to rest— when it was time to catch the wave he would be able to ride it all the way back to shore with ease. As he spoke these words a vibrant double rainbow appeared over our home and remained for a long time. As I looked upon this rainbow and thought about the rest he was speaking of, I heard the Lord say,
“I promise not to overwhelm you or flood you with that which will take you under. Rest in me and ride the waves of mercy to my shores of grace and victory.”
Many of you have had a long journey of “swimming and paddling hard!” Your strength is depleted and you need to take time to rest. You are now positioned to catch the wave that will take you higher and further then you have ever known but first you must rest. You are being invited into Matthew 11,
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
He will take the burdens that are too heavy for you to carry and he will teach you to rest and to come to him where his gentleness will comfort and soothe your weary and storm tossed soul. It is there that you will receive the light yoke that will allow you to ride the wave of mercy that you are about to catch.
The battle belongs to the Lord! Yes, you have a part in the battle but if you do not stop to rest (and release the heavy burdens) then you will be taken under by the wave that is coming. Rest will enable you to ride it and not be swallowed by the force of it. The wave will either take you higher or take you under but the key is resting in Him and allowing heavy burdens to be removed from your shoulders. This wave is to bring His people higher while drowning the enemy who does not know how to rest.
If you are thirsty, weak and weary then rest at His table— eat the riches of all that He has set before you and be strengthened. Let His wisdom and thoughts become yours.
““Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food. “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David. See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations. You also will command nations you do not know, and peoples unknown to you will come running to obey, because I, the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, have made you glorious.”” Isaiah 55:1-5
Isaiah 55 then goes on to say this,
““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
Often we think that when the battle is raging we must jump in with all of our strength to defeat the great enemy before us. But we must remember that God’s ways are not our ways and there are times that the greatest weapon in the fight before us are the weapon of rest and trust, dependency and stillness, hope and faith.
During this time don’t forget how God used Gideon’s army! God reduced their numbers so low that it appeared to be a sure defeat against such a vast and mighty enemy. Then God had them put torches in jars and carry ram’s horns (trumpets) as their only weapons as they descended upon the enemy’s camp while it was still dark. Then they broke the clay jars to reveal their torches of light and blew they the ram’s horns. The enemy was so surprised that they turned on themselves in the chaos and Gideon’s army watched as they were defeated by their own hand.
“It was just after midnight, after the changing of the guard, when Gideon and the 100 men with him reached the edge of the Midianite camp. Suddenly, they blew the rams’ horns and broke their clay jars. Then all three groups blew their horns and broke their jars. They held the blazing torches in their left hands and the horns in their right hands, and they all shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” Each man stood at his position around the camp and watched as all the Midianites rushed around in a panic, shouting as they ran to escape. When the 300 Israelites blew their rams’ horns, the Lord caused the warriors in the camp to fight against each other with their swords. Those who were not killed fled to places as far away as Beth-shittah near Zererah and to the border of Abel-meholah near Tabbath.” Judges 7:19-22
Three hundred men who obeyed God’s ways with weapons of light and sound defeated a vast army that processed weapons that could have defeated an army of thousands. The battle and the wisdom belongs to the Lord! His ways are higher.
So…rest, wait, eat, drink and listen. Let go of the burden as you look upon an enemy that is too big for you. God reduced Gideon’s army from thousands to a few hundred so that no man could boast that it was by their power or strength that defeated the enemy army…but by God alone!
“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty Zechariah 4:6
A great wave of mercy is approaching and it will bury the but you must rest so that you can ride the wave and not be taken under by it. His ways are not our ways and His weapons are not the weapons of man. You may feel that your light is in a jar (hidden) and your sound is not being heard at this time— but the time is coming where the jars will break and the sound of the shofars are blown! Rest and wait— the time of deliverance is coming. A wave of mercy is coming that will defeat the enemy that has come against God’s people!
“Come to the fountain Dip your heart in the stream of life Let the pain and the sorrow Be washed away In the waves of His mercy As deep cries out to deep Come Lord Jesus come”
Thank you to all of my readers who have been praying for me and supporting our ministry during 2020. We pray for you daily and declare blessings of multiplication and peace over you and your household.
When I was a child, every Saturday my siblings and I were required to thoroughly clean our rooms. One time I remember not wanting to clean so I took all the clothes that had been scattered through my room and threw them on my closet floor. Then I took the papers, books and homework and shoved them in my desk drawers in a haphazard way. Finally I took everything else and just pushed it under my bed to hide it from sight. After vacuuming and dusting I called my mom to let her know that I was done. She walked in (probably realizing that it was too soon for me to have properly cleaned) and when she saw a “seemingly” immaculate room she became suspicious and opened my closet door. Of course my hidden mess poured out and what didn’t fall out tossed out by her. Then she headed to my bed and lifted the bedspread to look under it and the true hidden mess and deception was revealed. Everything was thrown out and my room looked worse than before I had begun.
I thought of this memory as I’ve observed the state of our nation.
Less than six months ago everything looked clean, in order and right but suddenly something came and opened our closet doors and pulled out all that was hidden from sight and suddenly we have a bigger mess than before.
But, just like when I was a child and hid my mess— nothing was actually cleaned at all. The mess in our nation was merely hidden from sight. Most didn’t want to deal with it or see it exposed because we don’t like “mess.” We had learned to live contently without uncovering the mess or exposing all that was hidden.
When my mess was exposed (as a child) I was forced to truly clean it up; to bring order and alignment to every area. But first everything had to be pulled out from the hidden places and exposed. That is where we are at.
So, God first began with His bride. From March through May God opened the door of our hearts and exposed the clutter and mess that was keeping us from making room for Him. Many in the body of Christ took these months to get our hearts clean and make room for Him. Remember, God always looks for a remnant to work through.
Once He had cleaned, prepared and aligned His remnant’s hearts it was time to pull out everything under the bedrock of our nation. Yes, it’s a mess and it’s all been pulled out and thrown into the light for all to see. Although it may not feel like “our mess”— we need to know that it is the mess we knew existed and yet did not want to look at or even know what to do about. Now it is laid out for all to see and it is the Church that will be given authority and wisdom regarding what to do to bring it back into divine order.
We can’t just push it back under the bed or hide it behind closed doors because it’s already been exposed. We must begin the step by step process of cleaning it up.
We need the help of our Father because it’s quite honestly too big of a job for us! But…He is happy to give wisdom and hold the plumb line that will reveal alignment. We must ask for wisdom and be willing to steward the clean up process.
We may wish that we could just go back to the way it was before 2020 but to have 20/20 vision and to make decrees that establish righteousness, we first needed to know what was hidden from sight.
It can be better than it was before! If we will go before the mercy seat and then follow His lead, then we won’t merely have the appearance of being clean but purity can be established— even in the hidden places.
Exposure is good when it is exposing that which is unclean. We must all begin the work but first we must align with God’s heart and His steps to lay down personal agendas and picking up heavenly blueprints that draw us into the oneness that Jesus prayed for in John 17:21-23,
“I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” We may have to lay down names, titles, brands and differences to come into the oneness that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit share and sweet it come upon the church.
I am praying for His plumb line to come and for His bride to yield to the true alignment of Heaven.
Let us lay everything at the feet of the One who is worthy and release the perfume of oneness over His feet so that it fills the atmosphere with “Christ in us.”
God is aligning hearts, He is aligning His remnant church and He is aligning together those who will be entrusted to carry out His purposes in humble surrender as well as confident authority in His leadership. We serve a humble king who is searching for those who will lead and serve as He does.
Pray for a holy alignment to continue and to usher us into the oneness that causes “the world to know.” May all that has been exposed now be made clean by our God and His faithful remnant.
Perfect love is the alignment. Like Bob Jones was asked when He was taken to heaven, “Did you learn to love?” Let us ask for reformed lives that align with His love.

This week I have been thinking and praying about why there are so many in the body of Christ who have many talents and gifts but they are not being used or walking in leadership/authority within the spheres of the talents allotted to them. Why?
I believe that we can find the answer to this question in Luke 19. Beginning in verse 11 and ending in verse 27 we read the parable about the ten talents (minas). In this parable a noble man travels to a distant country to receive authority and become king over that region. He has servants back home and he gives each of them ten talents (minas) and told them to “engage in business” until he returns.
Jesus came to the earth where He will be our eternal king. Mankind (especially His sons and daughters who are servants by choice) have been given talents and asked to “engage in His business” until He returns.
This noble man’s “subjects” hated him and decided to send out a delegation who declare, “We don’t want this man to rule over us!” Maybe this is why he goes to find another country to be king over? (Doesn’t this sound like the delegations filling our country’s city streets with rebellion and anarchy!— not the peaceful protests or voices of reformation but the mobs bent on destruction). Let’s pray that God does not go looking for another country that will honor His authority!
Back to the parable…
When this noble man returns having “received authority to be king” in a far away country, he calls the ten servants that he gave money (talents/minas) to so he can find out how much they made in business. Or— what they did with the talents given to them?
The first one (vs. 16) gained ten more! Then the master told him, “Well done— because you have been faithful in a ‘very small’, I will give you authority over ten cities.”
The second one came and had made an increase of five talents. So, the master gave him authority over five cities. But another servant came and gave the master back only the talent originally given to him because he was his master’s severity so he hid it away. He didn’t even deposit it in the bank where it would earn interest! Because of this the master took away even the talent given to him so that he was left with nothing and was given authority over nothing.
The story concludes with these words,
“‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.” Luke 19:26
This may sound like a hard word but we must understand the truth of sowing and reaping— of stewarding what has been given to us or hiding it away out of fear. We also must understand both the kindness and the severity of God! We cannot separate them or call one good and one bad. A good father is both kind in times of praise and pleasure as well as severe in times of discipline; because he desires to save us, protect us and teach us wisdom.
“Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off.” Romans 11:22
God is looking for those who can be trusted to steward what He has given to them. As we watch a “delegation of rebellion” take to the streets of our nation, God is looking for those who He can give authority to in different spheres of influence. We do not want to lose Him as the king over our nation!
But— first we must be faithful with the “small” talents entrusted to us and “do God’s business” with them. We must multiply and invest what we have been given so that we are trusted and given authority over more. I believe that this parable is both for this time and for the ages to come after the Lord returns. What we are entrusted with during this time will be handed to Him when we stand before Him and then authority will be given in the world to come.
If you have not been seeing increase with the small (or large) talents you’ve been given then know this: “It’s not too late!” You can begin today to take what you’ve been given and invest it (do business with what you have) to see increase and multiplication. Talents are not only in the form of gifts like public speaking, writing, singing, playing an instrument, etc. (the ones we focus on in the church world) but they are all that the Lord has invested in you— your story, your compassion, your service of “helps,” your relationships, your family, your finances and all of your blessings.
The church needs to unfold the cloth that has hidden the talents given to them and deposit them in ways that will reap increase. It’s time to receive authority so that we can see our nation saved.
We each need to be about our Father’s business and then watch as God comes and announces over you, “Well done! Because you have been faithful with the small I will give you authority over more!”
God is looking for those that He can give authority and influence to. His eyes are watching how we “do Kingdom business.” Jesus understood this and was our example of this,
And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” Luke 2:49
It is time to be about our Father’s business and multiply that which He has entrusted us with.

In times like we are living in it could be easy to become downcast or overwhelmed by all that is going on in the world around us. I’ve heard stories of young children, pre-teens and teenagers having panic attacks, fighting hopelessness and weeping uncontrollably. Although, it’s not only the youth, but people of all ages, becoming undone because nothing seems secure or familiar.
So— as the Church— how do we respond and comfort those who are fearful and hurting? We first begin with us and at home.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
We must quiet our souls and anchor our lives and the atmosphere in our homes in the truth that “He is God!” Nothing can change that and we can rest and breathe deep knowing that He is God and He is good. We are not without hope! As you anchor your life in the love of God you can then take practical steps to reset the atmosphere within your home.
• Turn off the TV (especially the news which glorifies the agenda of fear and hopelessness).
• Turn on worship music and fill your home with the message of hope and praise! God is in control!
• Sit down with your children and family members and let them talk, process and give them answers that assure them that God is still in control. Speak peace— speak hope!
• Hold each other long and often. Sometime we just need to be held— and held long— until love and comfort replaces the fears and pain.
• Take walks, play games and make memories together.
• Read and pray the Word over your home and family!
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
I just finished a 14-day series centered around this verse! We must turn the narrative of hate, rage, deception and that which is “newsworthy” to that which is “praiseworthy!” When we do that it begins to renew our minds with truth, hope and love.
“How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 36:7
Here is your “nothing better” truth statement! There is nothing better then the steadfast love of God. He is our refuge and constant place of security.
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
Nothing can separate us and nothing is better then living in the grip of His love. NOTHING!
When one of my kids are hurting I will sit them down and I will speak the truth of God’s love over them until it sinks in and saturated them! Together we will linger in His truth and love until His love casts out all fear.
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18
His love is perfect— every other love falls short and has limits! It is imperative to lead our loved ones to the arms of “Perfect Love.” It is there that fear is driven out. It is in His arms that we can surrender control and “become still”— knowing that He is God and He loves us without conditions or limitations.
When our lives and our families are in the grip of God’s love then we can become a refuge and light to the world around us. The world is looking for an anchor of hope. They are looking for comfort, peace, hope, light, rest and love. They will look for the refuge of true family…but that must first begin in our homes.
We must know that He is good and nothing in this world can change that. When you begin to loose perspective— run to His arms! There is no better place to be— there is NOTHING BETTER than His love and His everlasting arms. When you encounter people who feel panicked and out of control, it is then that you take their hand and lead them to the loving arms of Jesus.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?” Romans 8:35
When skewed perspective “feels” like it has separated you or someone before you from the love of God remind them of the words from Romans 8:31-39 that assure us that NOTHING can separate us from His love. Within the love of God we receive everything we need. There is no lack, no risk, no fear— just His goodness and beauty.
Be still and know that He is God! Let His love and goodness pour over you today! Then pour it over your loved ones and over those around you. There is nothing better!

We are standing in the midst of an nation that is gripped in fear, rage, pain and exposure. Everything that can be shaken is being shaken. Our very roots are being shaken as chaos fills our cities and streets.
So, how do we— the body of Christ— position ourselves and navigate these perilous times? I spend the past week asking the Lord and even talking with trusted friends about this very thing. Though I only “see in part”, I would like to submit to you my part.
One of the things that the Lord clearly reminded me of was of a vision that I had over twenty years ago where I was taken over a particular nation that was in great turmoil. This nation was not only experiencing a shaking but it was also very known for worshipping idols (burning incense to man made statues, making offerings to carved images, etc.). In my vision I was taken above this nation and I saw what I can only describe as the scent of fear, idolatry, anger, pain and the worship of false gods that was attracting demons to gather in what looked like a “feeding frenzy.” The demonic activity over this nation was being fed by the emotional reactions and the works of men and women enslaved to serve images that demand a cost yet give nothing in return.
Then, in this vision (encounter), I was taken to the solution. I saw the believers in this nation raising up the standard of the “fear of the Lord.” What that looked like was a posture of abiding trust, becoming still in perfect peace, persevering in prayer and devoted to the worship of Jesus alone! As the believers engaged in this it released a fragrance or perfume in the atmosphere over this nation of “the scent of Heaven.” Suddenly the demons began to flee in absolute anguish as the scent of Christ’s body was released. It was a “repelling scent to the forces of hell.” The other thing that happened in this encounter was that as the beautiful fragrance of the bride filled the atmosphere it caused angels to rush and gather to the scent. It strengthened them and they fed upon the peace, the trust, the prayers of faith and the worship. It strengthened them to be victorious in battling the powers and principalities that were keeping nations and people captive. I watched this nation change through the remnant of God’s people shifting the atmosphere that became like kryptonite to the enemy and his demons.
The second thing that the Lord reminded me of was that He has always told me these words,
“Kathi, peace and the stillness of abiding trust is absolute confusion and chaos to the enemy!”
Peace and trust is like an encoded message that the enemy cannot decode. It also releases chaos and fear into the enemy’s camp like no other thing. The peace is God causes confusion and chaos to come upon the enemy’s plans!
There will be assignments that will be given to many in this time. Some of you will be called to the public squares in cities as reformers. Some of you will be called to the secret place of prayer. Some of you will be called to serve on mountains of influence that need to be redeemed and some of you will be called to release the sound of worship. Whatever the call, the assignment or the place…do it from the place of perfect peace and abiding trust. This posture will become the promise of Psalm 91 over you and it will be a weapon like no other.
Whether you are going out to the streets or closing yourself into your prayer closet; this is a time to “be still and know that He is God!” The stillness of peace and trust will make room for Him to move!
This truly is a “not by might, nor by power but by His Spirit” time in history! Sometimes our silence and stillness that comes from absolute trust deafens the noise and calms the storm more than anything else. What did Jesus do in the storm? He slept in perfect peace knowing that His Father would not let anything happen to him.
You may raise your voice in worship and truth but there is a stillness and silent trust that will establish far more than anything else we can offer at this time. If fear and chaos has filled your heart and mind— this is the time to ask the Spirit of the Lord to deliver you from the atmosphere and influence of this world and to usher you into the unshakable Kingdom of His dear Son. Peace and trust will clothe you with a stillness that confounds the enemy and gives you strength.
“Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10

Every Sunday evening I have a prayer call with a group of people from the Washington DC region to pray for our nation, our leaders and whatever the Spirit speaks to us as we wait upon Him. Last night we had a powerful time of prayer in the midst of all of the pain and rage happening throughout our nation.
During our time praying the Spirit kept turning my attention to the cities that have been targeted for violent riots and destruction. First I was led to begin to declare a new name over these cities (and over our nation) as the verse from Isaiah 62:2-4 flowed through my spirit,
The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord’s own mouth. The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God. Never again will you be called “The Forsaken City” or “The Desolate Land.” Your new name will be “The City of God’s Delight” and “The Bride of God,” for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as his bride.” The Lord asked me to begin to declare over our nation and over these cities— where violence has erupted— that the Lord will change their name from “Forsaken” or “Desolate” to “The Cities of God’s Delight.”
Then I was taken into a vision where these cities were pools of stagnant water with the blind, deaf and lame (spiritually disabled) laying all around them. But suddenly angels descended upon these cities and began to “stir the waters” and when they did this the people, who had gathered there with many “spiritual diseases” began to see, hear and rise up and walk. They could see that Jesus is the only Savior, they could hear that He is the hope that they had been looking for and suddenly they could rise up from their lame posture and run to Him.
“…for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.” John 5:4
The diseases of deception; hopelessness, rage, murder, anarchy and rebellion were suddenly healed and captives were being set free.
It is time to stand in the cities where violent riots have broken out and call forth the angels to come and stir the stagnant waters so that they become healing pools. It is time to declare over our nation and these cities their new name, “Cities of God’s Delight!”
May the very ones who go to these cities to bring destruction and hate suddenly find their feet in a pool that heals them and sets them free from the disease of deception. May they encounter the living God and become repairers of the breaches.
Minneapolis, Washington D.C., Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles, New York, Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Raleigh, Louisville and more— call upon the angel of their Lord to come and stir the waters of your city and make it a pool of healing. Declare that their names, “Forsaken and Desolate” are no more but that God calls them by a new name! Declare the new name over your city.
What the enemy has meant for evil God will turn for good and for healing. Do not despair, do not bow low in hopelessness but rise up and see the salvation of the Lord come to our nation and to these cities!

Each Memorial Day I take time to remember those throughout the history of our nation that have both served and sacrificed. The men, women, young and old. I think of the sacrifices of moms and dads who’s sons and daughters have left them to serve and never returned home.
My relative, Ralph Cheli (my maiden name is Cheli) was one of those. At age 25 he led his troop of planes on a mission over Japan. During the mission his plane was crippled and he could have saved himself and turned back but this would have put both the mission and his men (the other pilots) at risk. Knowing that his plane would not be able to complete the mission he forged ahead completing the mission and providing safe return for all of his troop. His plane went down over Japan and he parachuted out but was taken prisoner by the Japanese and executed as a POW. He receive a metal of honor for the ultimate sacrifice but I’m certain that for his family the cost was felt throughout their lives— without their precious son.
This is merely one story of service and sacrifice. Countless men and women have given all for our freedom. Thank you to them and to their families: moms, dads, wives, husbands, children.
I don’t want to forget those who have and are currently serving in our armed services. Thank you!
I also want to honor those who have and are serving in the Army of the Lord. There have been great service and sacrifice for the sake of providing freedom from sin and death. I honor and thank those as well. Many lives have been given to provide eternal freedom.
As you enjoy family, food and freedom today— do not forget that blood was shed for both your national freedom and spiritual freedom. There are empty chairs and empty tombs that represent the blood shed for our freedom 🇺🇸

Yesterday I was sent an email that shared a dream that someone had which had me in it. She did not know what it meant but felt that she was to share it with me. As I read it I received insight regarding what the Lord was saying through this dream. I believe it clearly points to a demonic plot against our president that can be likened to Absalom’s plot to kill King David (and all those with him) in 2 Samuel 17.
“I will strike while he is weary and exhausted, and terrify him; and all the people with him will flee [in terror]. Then I will attack the king alone,” 2 Samuel 17:2
The dream begins on the outskirts of an alligator infested swamp where I am with the person who had the dream and other intercessors. We see the oldest, largest and most hidden alligator that lives in this swamp and grass was growing on the back of this great beast. The grass was there to camouflage and hide him from being seen. People were walking upon this grass completely unaware of what was right under their feet.
I believe that the swamp represents the United States of America. Our president is known for saying, “Drain the swamp!” But, the enemy knows that if we drain the swamp we will expose this Leviathan.
After the “swamp scene” the dream changes. In the next part of the dream I am instructing the intercessors to go to Colorado Springs. We go there and I go into a room with a bed in it and lay face down on it in order to receive a “word from the Lord.” Suddenly the Spirit of the Lord falls on me causing me to shake so severely that I fall off of the bed and onto the floor; shaking under His power. As I read this part I felt that it could represent the importance of the word that I will receive; which could be the interpretation to this dream.
I find it interesting that I send this group to Colorado Springs since this is where Lou Engel is now living and leading our nation into prayer and fasting from his home there. I also found out that Vice President Pence arrived in Colorado Springs the same day I received the dream (April 18th) which I believe speaks to the NOW timing upon this dream. Our Vice President is the head of the Coronavirus task force therefore God may be asking for prayer for him and his leadership in this role.
The last part of this dream is that the person (who had this dream) was with me in the room when the Spirit fell on me. She was holding her “revelation journals” and all she remembers is that she wanted giving me a scripture out of 2 Samuel. That concluded the dream.
The person who had this dream could not remember the chapter or verse reference from 2 Samuel. Yet when I read the dream I felt led to ask her the date that she had the dream and she told me the early morning hours of the 17th. I felt the Spirit say, “Go to 2 Samuel 17 and you will know what is happening.” So, I first went to the early verses in 2 Samuel 17. That is when I read these words that captured my attention,
“I will strike while he is weary and exhausted, and terrify him; and all the people with him will flee [in terror]. Then I will attack the king alone,” 2 Samuel 17:2
Please read thorough 2 Samuel 17 regarding the plans of Absalom to take King David’s life. I feel convinced that the enemy has a plot to destroy our president and cause those standing him to run from him in terror (leaving him exposed).
Let’s pray that our president will listen to the voices of the prophets in his life and follow their instructions. A spirit of rebellion is plotting against him in a time where he is weary and exhausted. It’s an Absalom spirit that wants to take the place of “king” and rally the people under his leadership. Through the words of the prophet a strategy is made to save the King David. Because of this strategy King David and those with him are rerouted and saved causing Absalom’s plans to thwarted. He then hangs himself.
There is a victory if we pray and bring wisdom and warning to our president. Let us get on our faces and pray!
