An Amazing Dream I Had Last Night… “Blessed Assurance” or “Blessed Insurance”

by Kathi Pelton

I had a vivid but unusual dream last night. In the dream I was seeking to find an insurance policy that would cover my “faith”. I knew that my life was at a high risk point regarding what I was stepping into and wanted insurance in case something happened and we were left with losses. Suddenly a package arrived for me and I opened it; as soon as I held it in my hands I knew that it had sent from Jesus. When I opened it I found that it contained a scroll or rolled up document. As I unrolled it I saw writing on the header of this document that said, “Assurance Policy” It was an not an insurance policy but an assurance policy that gave me a written guarantee that my faith was being covered by His declaration of promised provision. I took it out and signed it before waking up.
What an amazing dream! I was seeking “insurance” (a guaranteed compensation of loss) and He gave me “assurance” (a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise.).
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
The Greek word for assurance can be translated to mean “concrete”. It is the foundation or concrete proof of something we can stand upon. Therefore this “Assurance Policy” was my concrete proof or promise that there will not be a need for an insurance policy that compensates for loss. What a “blessed assurance” this dream was to me!
Often, our view of loss and God’s view of loss differ. I was speaking to a group of young adults this week about the subject of God’s faithfulness and asked them if their definition of His faithfulness was based on what they think the outcome of a particular matter should look like. I gave the example of someone praying for a loved one who is ill and ends up dying. I asked them if the faithfulness of God remains true in the midst of what we would see as a great loss. They determined that, “Yes!” His faithfulness remains sure even when we don’t understand.
I share this not to dampen the word of “assurance” but to break off of many the restraints and strongholds of disappointment that have come through defining His faithfulness by a particular outcome that may have measured His faithfulness. Let us declare and determine (over our past, our present and our future) that is faithfulness is immeasurable, irrevocable and irrefutable!
“Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created.” Psalm 119:90
Our faith is bound and secured by His faithfulness. His faithfulness is our “assurance policy” in the midst of all that we face and all that we experience. There are no losses with Christ because in Him there is eternal and immeasurable reward. He is worth every risk, every act of faith, every “Yes” spoken, every sacrifice made and every life lived fully unto Him.
We do not need an insurance policy to back up our faith…we have been given  a “assurance policy” that declares a promise of His faithfulness from generation to generation.
“God will repay each person according to what they have done.” Romans 2:6
We will receive a great and eternal reward for not holding back but giving our all. There are no losses…
“Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.” Deuteronomy 5:33
I will end with the first stanza from the song, “Blessed Assurance”,
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood

Important Update!

Dear Ministry Friends & Partners,

First, thank you all for standing with us, praying for us and supporting us in all that the Lord has asked us to do and the places He has asked us to go. It truly takes a “family” and you are that to us!

Our ministry and family has entered a time of great acceleration where we are seeing our young adult children sent out like arrows shot forth from our quiver. Dreams and prophetic words that we have carried for decades are suddenly coming upon us and upon our children.

God has put a deep call and longing in our hearts throughout the years to walk with the younger generation; to see them thrive in the midst of family. We live this out in our immediate family and with our spiritual sons and daughters locally, nationally and internationally.

Jeffrey and I have expanded our walk with the younger generation as we partner with the Awaken the Dawn movement (http://www.awakenthedawn.org/). This is a company and family of amazing Levite’s (musicians, prayer leaders and sold-out sons and daughters) that have given their “Yes” to the Lord to make the worth of Jesus known throughout our nation while hosting His presence in different states and cities. We are stepping in to carry the baton with them and to disciple them as they run. It is the fathers and mothers and sons and daughters running together as one family.

We will continue to be a part of our global team that is walking with many nations to see God’s family joined in the unity and oneness that Jesus prayed for in John 17:20-23. We also will continue to be the young adults pastors to our “Third Watch” young adults team here in Portland, Oregon that is part of the city transformation and focusing on Portland State University’s reformation.

Lastly, we will continue to encourage the body of Christ through our writings, prophesy, teachings and books. Inscribing the vision is one of our greatest passions.

Due to all that God is opening up before us, our travel schedule has increased immensely in this season. This has also increased our need for prayer and financial partners who will commit to support us on a monthly basis.

We would like to invite you to be a part of our ministry family by becoming a financial partner with us.

We need to raise an additional $4000 per month to cover travel expenses, ministry expenses and personal expenses as we give our full focus to the work of the Kingdom.

We are now preparing to have two months of continual travel throughout North America. We will be going to Idaho, Utah, Montana, Boston, Vermont, Ottawa (Canada), Washington DC, Virginia and further between now and September. If you would like to sow into this extended trip, we would be so very grateful.

If you believe in what we are doing and would like to become a ministry partner through prayer and monthly financial support; go to: https://www.inscribeministries.com/

You can set up an automatic monthly payment through pressing our donation button on the homepage. You can also write to us at: admin@inscribeministries.com to let us know that you have committed to partner with us.

We commit to pray for you and your loved ones. We will host quarterly ZOOM calls with our supporters so that we truly become “family” and can pray with you.

Thank you for your love and “yes” to Jesus! He has spoken to me clearly in this season by saying that He is “Prospering His people’s, ‘YES’.” We say, “Yes!”

With Love and Gratitude, Jeffrey & Kathi Pelton

Another “YES” Vision

by Kathi Pelton

Today I once again saw a vision of people giving their “YES” to the Lord. For many, their “Yes” came out of their own need; such as the widow did when she gave her last coins in Luke 21. Though they had little to offer, they added their “Yes” to follow Him and to give their all.

“And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.” Luke 21:1-4

In this vision I saw the Lord receive their “Yes” as if it were a coin or a “widow’s mite” offering. As it was received by the Lord, it was multiplied and prospered. It began to rain coins of provision upon the one who had said, “Yes!” All that they needed to follow Him, to be sent out and to obey His voice was released in response to their “yes offering.”

For a number of weeks now I keep hearing the words, “It is the time of the widow’s mite offering.” Each time that I hear it I see the words, “Change for change.” I sense that this is the heart that the Lord is searching for. He is looking for the ones who give their all. This is a pleasing sacrifice that will bring about a shift or change even in your natural resources.

It is the posture that declares, “He is worthy of it all!” It also declares that we trust in the Lord with all of our hearts. I don’t know what this looks like for each one of you but the Lord does. Ask Him.

There is a “Yes offering” that is being given in this hour that is breaking the ceiling that has held you down. It is releasing a prosperity that makes a way for your yes to be resourced. It will take you into all the world so that many more will give their yes.

Your “yes” is sending you out!You will be ambassadors of light and truth into a world of darkness and deception. Your yes is resounding through the atmosphere and reaching the heart of God. It is the future and hope that He has for you and for all who will be transformed by the light and truth that you are carrying.

“Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” John‬ ‭17:18-21‬ ‭

We give our “YES” to you, Lord.

Your “Yes” Will Prosper and Break Barriers!

by Kathi Pelton

I have had a very busy travel schedule this season and as I have been in many different places I have taken notice that a theme resounds every place that I go; it is the sound of sons and daughters giving their, “Yes” to the Lord.

This is not a subtle sound but a thundering sound of fully yielded hearts and surrendered lives. It is released in their prayers, their worship and their declarations like a thunderclap that echos through the atmosphere.

During the past few weeks I have had numerous visions and revelations regarding this sound and I’d like to share two of them with you.

In one, I saw the “Yes” being released from the individual voices and corporate gatherings going before the Lord. Their “Yes” was being funded by heavenly resources. As it was released on earth it was being touched with prosperity. Angels were bringing everything needed for their “Yes” to be accomplished. It was a heavenly partnership being fully funded by supernatural resources.

Next, I was taken into an encounter where I found myself at Calvary where Jesus was being nailed to the cross. I was completely overcome by the weight and magnitude of the weight of His surrender to such agony. Then, I heard the pounding of the nails as they pierced His hands and feet. He cried out in such excruciating pain but what I heard was “the yes of Jesus!” It was His yes to dying so that we might live. It resounded through the atmosphere of time like a great thunderclap. Each pound of the nails and cry of pain was like another thunderclap. Then I was taken back to the worship service that I was in where surrendered sons and daughters were shouting out their “Yes”; to die to self and live fully for Christ. Suddenly, the yes of Jesus 2000 years ago and the yes of His children now were being intermingled as one resounding YES! As it intermingled it went forth like a sonic boom! I saw it resound through the atmosphere worldwide. The sound waves went out like a “sound tsunami” that was building in strength and power. As it went forth I saw it spark revival everywhere it touched. I literally heard the “Yes” of new believers throughout the world that equaled “billions!” Not millions but billions of souls shouting their yes to Christ!

This is the hour of the YES! The years prior have prepared a people that would yield and surrender all for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ and His worth. The YES has begun already but I believe that it will hit a “critical mass” in 2020 creating this sonic boom that sends forth sound energy and waves of His glorious love and power.

The definition of a sonic boom is the sound associated with the shock waves created whenever an object travelling through the air travels faster than the speed of sound. Sonic booms generate enormous amounts of sound energy, sounding similar to an explosion or a thunderclap to the human ear. This is why I heard the sound of “Yes” in both encounters come as a thunderclap. This intermingled “yes” that merges the yes of Jesus when He died so that we might live and the yes of His sons and daughters to die to self so that He might live through them will break the sound barrier. It will release the sound that breaks down demonic barriers that have prevented ears from hearing the sound of His love and salvation.

Your yes is needed. Heaven is prospering your yes with supernatural resources and it is being intermingled with the sound of Jesus’ yes when He surrendered to the cross. It is the trip wire that will spark revival! It is the sound that breaks the barriers and releases a tsunami sound wave of revival that will harvest billions of souls.

Just say YES!

There Is A “Sound Swell”— It’s The Sound of Revival!

by Kathi Pelton

There is a sound that is swelling in the atmosphere that will ignite revival throughout the world— it is the sound of the “laid down lovers” intermingled with the sound of the One who laid His life down.

I was taken into an encounter where I found myself before our precious Jesus as His hands were being nailed to the cross. With each pound of the hammer He let out a great cry. Yet in this encounter His cry was heard in my spirit as, “Yes! I lay Myself down!” Each cry was His yes given to save us— the “Yes” of One who is purchasing back His Bride.

Then I was taken to crowds of believers who were giving their “Yes” to lay down their lives for the sake of Christ. Their “Yes” was an unconditional and fully abandoned “Yes!” Then, suddenly the “Yes” of Christ from 2000 years ago, as He was being nailed to the cross, and the “Yes” of His sons and daughters today went forth as one sound. The echo of His yes and our yes intermingled into a sound of revival. I saw billions (not millions but billions) come to Christ in response to this sound!

An explosion of the sound of “Yes” is the trip wire that will signal revival…worldwide revival. No man, no law and nothing will be able to stop the sound. Old and young will run to hear the sound, to encounter the Man and to add their “Yes!” The “critical mass” required to for a chain reaction of salvation and purification is about to occur!

Do you feel and hear the swell of this sound? Release your “YES!” It is the unconditional yes that holds nothing back but rather it lays down all for the sake of the One who laid down His all. It is the yes of those who are completely dependent and surrendered. It is the yes that declares, “He is worthy of it all!”

The “Yes” That Fills The Room

by Kathi Pelton

Sometimes your “Yes” to Jesus comes with great excitement and joy but when your “Yes” comes with the sober awareness of sacrifice and cost; then it must be accompanied by the awareness and posture that cries out, “You are worthy of it all!”

These times remind me of Mary, a teenager being visited by the angel of the Lord who announced that the Holy Spirit would cause her to conceive a child, the Messiah. She had to be keenly aware of at least some of the cost; reputation, misunderstanding, accusations and so much more. Yet, in that moment of “being chosen” her response was this,

“And Mary said, “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.” LUKE‬ ‭1:38‬

“Be it unto me according to your word.” Those words have become the deepest cry of my life. I would pray them in the days of my youth with little understanding of the weight that they carried. Though I’d never change that innocent response of the “teenaged me”; today when I pray it I understand the weight of taking up my cross and following Him.

The beauty has far outweighed the cost and we choose not to count the cost but rather to count it all joy! He is so worth it all and making His worth known throughout the earth is what we live for. To see Jesus receive His full inheritance is our greatest joy. He gave His all so how can we give any less; even in the moments that our “yes” has the fragrance of sacrifice upon it?

I believe every “yes” is a pleasing offering to Him but the “yes” that is accompanied by tears and an awareness of truly having to “let go of your will to receive His” is especially beautiful to Him.

If you are in a “Yes” moment…either for the first time or you’ve lost count because you live a “yes lifestyle” then remember that the only regret we’d ever have at the end of our lives would be the times we held anything back from Him. Our “all” is the only offering that is fitting the God who gave His all.

When He visits you, to choose you, respond with the only words that are fitting, “Be it unto me according to your word.” If tears and sacrifice accompany your response then know that your words are like the costly perfume in the alabaster jar poured over His feet once again. The fragrance of your yes fills the room!

We say yes…

Your “Yes” Releases Everything That You Need

Kathi Pelton

In what I would consider a “suddenly”, two of our sons (one in New York and one in California) heard the Lord speak to them that it was time to move to where we live and be a part of our ministry here. Neither spoke to the other one about it and both waited for confirmation before “acting in it”. As they waited, nothing seemed to happen that brought the confirmation that they sought. Then the Spirit spoke to each of them separately and said, “Your yes is what is needed.”

Both boys gave the Lord their “yes” to the Lord in faith. We are now seeing that their “yes” was the trip wire for the confirmations to open up and the provisions to begin to come in.

I am sharing this because this is an example of my life as well. Many times throughout my life God has asked me to do something that “in the natural” had such crazy risk attached to it that it caused people who do not understand faith to question our sanity. We’ve said yes to moving to other countries and states with nothing but the word of the Lord. Our “yes” became the beginning of the shaking of the ground that crumbled the mountains that stood in our way. Our “yes” became like the staff of Moses that parted the Red Sea before us; keeping us from advancing.

Is the Lord asking something of you that seems impossible and crazy to those looking on? Even crazy to all of your natural understanding? If so, don’t wait for the sea to part to move forward but extend your “yes” that will cause the waters to stand up so that you can pass through.

Strengthen yourself and your loved ones with the stories and testimonies of how God has moved on behalf of His people as they said, “Yes” in days gone by. The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophesy; so let His testimony prophesy over your steps ahead. Recount His faithfulness aloud because it will strengthen you as you move in faith. Your story, that is about to unfold, will become the testimony for someone else in the days to come.

Say YES! Obedience to His request is your key to the door that stands before you. Waiting for the door to open before allowing your key of “yes” to be inserted will only serve to delay you from entering in. Your yes will be the release of everything that you need. As you step forward each step will release the provision and strength for what you need. Let the “fear of the Lord” become greater than the fear of the journey or the fear of the unknown. He is faithful and He has gone before you.

Let the peace of God guard your heart and mind as you give your yes to the One who is worthy of all of you.

You are in a “yes” moment! Your yes is the key that opens doors before you. We say YES to you Jesus!
