Testing 1, 2, 3, 4

By Kathi Pelton

The words, “Testing 1, 2, 3, 4” are most often heard when a person is doing a microphone sound check. It is to check clarity, levels and balance. So, it was interesting to wake up hearing these words. It is like a heavenly sound check is taking place. I then heard these words from the Book of James, chapter 1, verses 2, 3 & 4,

“2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

I wonder if too many of God’s people are trying to figure out what is going on by gauging the world around us? I hear statements like, “This is what I heard but this is what I see.” I surely understand and I get why there are questions, concerns and confusion. Personally, my world has been altered on so many levels but then I remind myself of Bible story after Bible story where absolute defeat turned into a greater victory than expected when the narration of events was written by God and not man. Here are just a few…

Young Joseph was given a dream and a coat of many colors that promised him authority, honor and favor but the promise did not play out like Joseph thought they would in his young mind. God’s narrative quite honestly seemed at best cruel and harsh; betrayal, slavery, isolation, abandonment, false accusation, imprisonments— but then the promise came to pass. The journey looked nothing like the dream but the outcome was so much greater and saved a nation in a time of great famine!

Then there was Moses. He went to Egypt as a deliverer of the Israelites but I guarantee you that each time he told Pharaoh to “Let my people go!” and the Israelites labor was increased and plagues came upon the land that they most likely not only questioned his authenticity but also did not view him as a deliverer. I imagine the accusations against Moses and Aaron were numerous. But God’s narrative once again played out much differently than even Moses expected. Not only were they delivered but their enemies were defeated.

Let’s not forget Lazarus! He was a personal friend of Jesus; a family friend where he found a home. Basically, Lazarus was an “insider” and counted among Jesus’ inner circle. When he gets sick his sisters know what to do…go get Jesus! Surely he will not let his personal friend die. He will come quickly and heal his friend. But no. He delays and almost seemingly strolls without any urgency to the home of his friend. He’s not only late, but Lazarus has been in the grave for days. The pain felt by all is real and raw. The questions of “where were you” and “if only you had been here” were intermingled with such deep grief. Yet, once again our God was not late but He was narrating a different story than anyone understood. The natural was not going to dictate the sovereignty of God or His ways. Although Lazarus was dead and it appeared final (nothing could be done)— then Jesus showed up and spoke, “Come forth!”

Last, Jesus came through a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, fed thousands with only a small lunch and raised the dead. His disciples knew He was their long awaited Messiah. They had such hope, such promise and so much confidence in Him. They had seen the miracles and watched power flow from His hands. They knew that victory had come into a world of oppression. But then their precious Jesus was arrested, betrayed, beaten, crucified and put into a gave. Can you imagine the grief, the shock, the confusion and the questions. I am sure that there were many moments of great division as His disciples and followers tried to figure out what had just happened and who was at fault. I would imagine that there were fingers pointed at one another and accusations made. Pain often looks for a reason or for “what went wrong and who is to blame?” It was not a pretty sight…where had love and unity gone? But then the third day came…God’s narrative once again prevailed in the greatest victory known to mankind happened in the greatest moment of division and despair.

Here we are again…

2021 has begun with what many are perceiving as the greatest defeat they have seen in their lifetime. An increasingly horrific global pandemic, oppression and evil manifesting like the plagues of Egypt, economic ruin for so many and the shock in America upon a church that prayed, repented for the sins of their nation, humbled themselves before the Lord and walked in faith regarding what they heard the Spirit speaking to them…then the opposite happened. But even when the narrative on earth looks nothing like what we thought it would— does that mean that we have been defeated? It surely looks like absolute defeat (for our freedom, for the unborn, for our children, for our safety and for righteousness to prevail). But God…

In this place of what appears to be contradiction to our faith suddenly fingers are pointing at one another, people are in pain, in grief and in confusion. They are looking for someone to blame or clinging to the narrative that they thought would occur. But God’s narrative always has a deeper work to be done.

What if the “testing of our faith” is upon us so that we become steadfast, complete and lack nothing? Maybe in the midst of emotional turmoil and deep grief we should stop trying to figure out the Almighty and begin to “count it all joy” that our faith is being tested. Maybe we should stop pointing fingers and instead raise our heads so that we see the face of God. Maybe…just maybe, a much deeper work is being done.

For me— my personal losses and pain is bringing up dross that needed to be removed. Places that I didn’t even know that I had held unresolved issues have suddenly been uncapped so that I can be washed and purified by His blood.

This is my “sound check” moment. It’s like God has put a stethoscope to my heart and is saying, “Testing, 1, 2, 3, 4.” I believe this is happening for all who are willing. He’s clearing and purifying the sound of our hearts. He’s balancing and aligning us to His heart, His ways and His pure sound. He’s removing every obstacle that blocks the pure sound of His good news and perfect love.

This is our James 1: 2,3,4 time. Let us count it all joy and then watch a greater victory than we ever imagined come forth as we see a bride without spot or wrinkle emerge. We have not been defeated…we are having our faith tested and it is time to allow Him to make every adjustment needed.

We Are At Jabbok

By Kathi Pelton

The Spirit of the Lord has been speaking to me daily over the past month about Jacob’s wrestling match recorded in the book of Genesis. This story could be described as Jacob’s wrestle with his flesh, in order to surrender, so that he would “prevail with God!” Remember, at the end of the wrestle God changed Jacob’s name to Israel, meaning, “The one who prevails with God.”

Here is the story in Genesis 32:22-28:

22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. 23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”

But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”

“Jacob,” he answered.

28 Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”

This wrestling occurred in a place called “Jabbok.” For the past month I have felt that the body of Christ, both corporately and individually, are at a spiritual “Jabbok.” We can no longer go forth and overcome in the ways that we have in past seasons. This is a time to wrestle down our flesh with the Lord until full surrender comes upon us. It is as though there has always been a mixture of God’s power and our human strength that has overcome past battles but no longer is that the case! God will touch our hip socket so that He will prevail, leaving us with a fleshly limp but a spiritual victory.

It is time for our name to be changed from Jacob (Jakob) to Israel. Jacob means supplanter and supplanter means “someone or something taking the place of another, as through force, scheming, strategy.” As I said earlier, Israel means the one who prevails with God. The Lord is removing any attempts of our flesh to usurp the glory, strength and honor that rightfully belongs only to the Lord. Every desire within us to force or scheme our way to victory will be surrendered so that we can truly prevail with the truth of Zechariah 4:6,

So he answered me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength or by might, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord of Armies.

When Jacob fully surrendered—after his flesh/hip socket was weakened, and his name was changed to Israel—he changed the name of Jabbok. Jabbok, meaning “to empty itself” or “a place of passing over” was now named Peniel, which means, “The face of God” or “he who strives with God.”

I believe that this is a prophetic picture of where we are at as God’s people. We are Jacob at Jabbok, and our wrestle will result in both names being changed to “Israel at Peniel.”

I love the way the late David Wilkerson describes Jabbok,

“Jabbok is the place where Jacob wrestled with the Lord. It is where he made his total surrender to God. It is where he got his new character, and new name – Israel. It was the place where he cast down his last idol, and won his greatest victory.

‘And he rose up that night… and passed over the ford Jabbok…’ (Gen. 32:22).

Jabbok means ‘a place of passing over’. It also stands for struggle; to empty and pour out. What a glorious truth is revealed in this place called Jabbok. It has everything to do with us today. It is the place where God’s people discover the secret of power over every besetting sin. It represents a life and death crisis – one that leads to absolute surrender.” (David Wilkerson)

Absolute surrender! We may have to wrestle with God in order to receive absolute surrender because our flesh and the sins of our flesh can be strong and overcome us. But, in mercy, God caused Jacob’s hip socket to be wrenched, thus causing a physical inability to continue to wrestle in the flesh. The hip joint is a ball-and-socket joint that allows motion and gives stability needed to bear body weight. This is why he walked with a limp thereafter. We may walk with a limp to wrestle down our flesh and the sin that has prevailed, but afterward we will “prevail with God!”

Do not shy from this place or this wrestle because it is the greatest victory you will ever experience in becoming “one with God.” It is where you will learn to dance with God according to His steps and His lead. It is where sin will no longer prevail in your life but you will prevail with God. No more force— “by His Spirit” will be your victory song and it will bring you into a Shalom (rest) that is greatly needed.

Now is the time—

Time To Ascribe!

By Kathi Pelton

On this first day of 2021 the word “Ascribe” has been resounding in my mind and my spirit like a bell tolling to announce God’s attributes. To ascribe means to attribute, impute or assign a quality or cause to something or someone.

The 96th Psalm ascribes certain qualities to Yahweh,

“Ascribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of His name; bring an offering and enter His courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations: “The Lord reigns. The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken. He judges the peoples fairly.”” Psalms‬ ‭96:7-10‬ ‭

As I read these words (declared these words), I could feel the weight of the authority we carry as His Ecclesia to ascribe to the Lord attributes that fill heaven to be made manifest on earth.

Therefore, we ASCRIBE to the Lord glory and strength! We ASCRIBE to Yahweh the glory of His name! We enter His courts with confidence that He alone has established the earth and His attributes will be upheld on earth as it is in heaven.

We ASCRIBE all dominion and sovereignty to Yahweh!

Today, join with me to ascribe righteousness, justice, mercy, truth, wisdom, faithfulness, deliverance and victory to the Lord! We ascribe authorship of all of these attributes to God alone. We come into His courts with thanksgiving and declarations that He will pour out these attributes over all His creation— for the earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it!

Ascribe to Yahweh, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due His name; worship Yahweh in the splendor of His holiness.” Psalms‬ ‭29:1-2‬ ‭

Psalm 29 concludes with the words,

“In His temple all cry, “Glory! ” The Lord sat enthroned at the flood; the Lord sits enthroned, King forever. The Lord gives His people strength; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” Psalms‬ ‭29:9-11‬ ‭

He sits enthroned as King forever! He is enthroned over all the happenings on the earth today. We declare that He is enthroned over 2021 and all the activities on the earth in this time. He is enthroned over our lives. He is enthroned over all as we ascribe to Him all that belongs to Him and that He deserves! All authority, all dominion, all power and all glory are ascribed to Him alone.

Let us rejoice! He rules with righteousness and faithfulness— let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice! Let earth receive her King in 2021!

2021: A Wrestle or A Dance?

By Kathi Pelton

I will be putting out a longer and more detailed word regarding “prophetic insights for 2021” in the coming days. But for now I wanted to share with you the most important thing that the Lord spoke to me. It was these words,

“Tell my people that the days ahead will either be a wrestle or a dance. It is their choice.”

Then I saw the Lord extending his hand toward his bride; inviting her to dance with him. His eyes were filled with tenderness, longing and deep love for her. I knew by revelation that this was a dance that she’d never danced before— it was intimate but also intricate. I could see her longing to enter his arms and dance but I also saw her trepidation because she did not know the steps.

He once again spoke saying, “Don’t look at your feet but look into my eyes and your feet will follow.”

This dance required her to remove her shoes— she was barefoot because this was holy. She also needed to be able to keenly feel the ground beneath her feet as she followed his lead. Face to face would be the posture needed for the steps ahead. Eyes locked on his eyes and not on the things below— he will lead and order the steps as love leads the dance. The light in his eyes will bring beauty, joy and pleasure even as you are trampling serpents with your joined steps— you’ll be unhindered by what is below because your gaze will be fixed on his eyes.

I also saw another scene. It was those who insisted on walking as they have in the past. They weren’t wanting a dance but rather a fight. Deep inside they wanted to take the lead. They tightened their boot straps and forged ahead. Then quickly they got tangled up in the movements of Jesus because he was not moving the way that they were. The clash in movements became a wrestle to those who didn’t take his hand and engage in the steps of this dance.

I was very aware that each step of this intricate dance was defeating more giants than anything we had done before. This dance required surrender, yielding, oneness and undivided focus. It was a surrender to the realization that “his ways are not our ways” in an atmosphere that provoked the flesh to battle in “our ways.”

The enemy provokes people to get us to enter into our strength, our ways and even our strategies. He has no idea how to battle those who are surrender to oneness with Christ. He has no idea what to do with joy and unity. Peace is absolute chaos to the enemy, who feeds on an atmosphere of anxiety and fear.

I don’t know the steps to this dance but I know his eyes and therefore I will remove my shoes and draw near with a surrendered and yielded heart…and let him lead. We will see more victories than ever before. This dance will lead prodigals home and the lost into the arms of Christ. It will release peace, joy and favor and it will reorder things like a supernatural plumb line.

If you find yourself in a wrestle then stop and find his eyes— then let his eyes lead your feet back into the dance. We dance and live from the place of victory…because Jesus has already defeated death and hell.

“Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance,
And the young men and the old, together,
For I will turn their mourning into joy
And will comfort them and give them joy for their sorrow.”

Jeremiah 31:13

It Is Time to Put On the Garments of Praise

By Kathi Pelton

“…and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.” Isaiah 61:3

2020 has been very difficult for many. Though God has come as light in the darkness for those who take refuge in him, it does not change the fact that all of the world, those who fear the Lord and those who do not, have been effected by all that has taken place in 2020.

We have all watched dear friends lose loved ones unexpectedly, lose jobs, lose homes, lose businesses…or maybe it is YOU who have lost one or one of these things this year. There is no shame in grieving. Grief does not reflect your faith or your trust in God. It merely says, “I have loved someone that I can no longer share my life with.” or “I labored for something that I believed in and it is no more.” There is grief that comes with losses and God asks us to grieve with those who grieve. And so we do!

Even as we grieve with those who grieve, it is right to put on “garments of praise” (even in the midst of loss or experiencing compassion on those who have lost). We have all lost something, even if it is just our rights and freedom to interact with friends or to enjoy looking into another’s face to see them smile. Though we have been forced to wear a mask on our physical body that reminds us all of this global pandemic, it is time to purposely and intentionally put on a spiritual garment that is called “praise!”

We have an eternal hope that gives us reason for praise in every season and circumstance. I have had seasons in my life of grief where I praised through the tears and it became of garment of peace in the midst of a storm. Praise became my refuge and fortress that took me above what my eyes could see.

Isaiah 61 goes on to say this,

Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.”

Today these words from Isaiah 61 rang like a bell of triumph in my spirit. It was like an announcement from angelic hosts calling us to put on garments of praise because the faithfulness of the Lord is our reward and his everlasting covenant will be made known among the nations!

I had a vision of God’s people putting on the garments of praise and as they did, God supernaturally clothed them with heavenly garments of peace and favor that broke off heaviness and despair. This garment of peace was tangible to the point of giving supernatural strength to those who have grown weary. The garment of favor attracted both heaven and earth; bringing forth prosperity that touched every area imaginable.

It is time to let the words that conclude Isaiah 61 pour out of our mouths like a river of praise,

“I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.”

Clothe yourself with garments of praise and watch what happens in the days to come!

Dominion Dream

DOMINION DREAM—
Kathi Pelton

Two nights ago I was in that place between deep sleep and coming awake when I either had a dream or a spiritual encounter where I began to hear the words,

“All dominion belongs to Yahweh! All dominion belongs to our God! All dominion belongs to King Jesus.”

As these words were being declared, a crown of dominion was being placed on the head of Jesus (the One with many crowns).

As this happened I saw the “Dominion Voting Machines” that have become so controversial regarding election integrity. I looked at the machine but there were powers and forces that were over it and that were part of massive scheme to overthrow America being a Christian nation. These powers had stolen dominion and authority away from the American people. The machine was like the crown or throne that executed a vast and multi-layered plan to rob the American people of their vote and their will.

But, the Ecclesia rose up and began declaring that ALL DOMINION BELONGS TO THE LORD! As this happened— dominion was removed from the thief and was placed in the hands of God’s people to put as a crown upon the true King…the only King: Jesus.

The word dominion means this:

Definition of dominion
1 : DOMAIN (an area of territory owned or controlled by a ruler or government)
2 law : supreme authority : SOVEREIGNTY
having dominion over the natural world
3 dominions plural, Christianity : an order of angels

The law or supreme authority— the sovereignty belongs to Jesus! We give our Lord and King, Jesus Christ, dominion over the natural world just as he has supreme authority and sovereignty over the heavenly realms. The world is the Lord’s and everything in it!

“The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.” Psalm 24:1

By the authority of Jesus Christ we remove all dominion from those who have devised evil and have exercised unlawful acts and plans against the American people. We break the power that has usurped our constitution, our rights and our voice. We restore ALL dominion and all sovereignty back to the One who reigns in love, faithfulness, righteousness and peace. The Lord who is full of justice and mercy.

Declare these words: Dominion belongs to the Lord of Angel Armies! Dominion belongs to the Lord of Hosts, Dominion belongs to the One true and sovereign God— Yahweh! According to His name, we the people of Yahweh, remove all dominion, rule and power from those who have made themselves enemies of God and we give it back to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

“Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury. For the Lord declares, “I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain.” The king proclaims the Lord’s decree: “The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father. Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.’” Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:1-12‬ ‭ (I am writing this in December 21 which in many nations is written as 21/12)

Amen!

The Backfire!

By Kathi Pelton

I woke up from a dream this morning as the sound of a massive “shot” or “backfire” sounded in my dream. As I woke up I heard the words, “A divine backfire.”

The meaning of backfire is this: A plan or action— rebound adversely on the originator; have the opposite effect to what was intended.

Today, 12/12, is the 40 day mark since the November 3rd election. In the Biblical story of when David faced Goliath the Philistine army had mocked the Israelite army and their God for 40 days. On the 40th day to young David goes out without the armor of a warrior and with merely a stone and sling to face Goliath. It was David’s confidence in the name of Yahweh, that took Goliath down by the mere shot of a stone.

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.46 This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:45-46

The mocking accusations backfired on the Philistines that day!

When I heard in my dream the backfire or shot, I woke up and saw the stone hit the head of Goliath and the sound of the shot as struck his head. Then I heard the words, “The shot heard around the world.” As this spirit that mocks hits the ground it will shake the nations with the fear of the Lord.

Today is a backfire day! Crown Jesus King of Kings!

Awe and Wonder Will Appear in the Darkness

By Kathi Pelton

As most of you know, on December 21,2020— on the darkest day of the year (first day of winter: shortest daylight of the year), around the globe we will see the night sky lit up with what looks like a Christmas star. In reality it will be the first time in 800 years that Jupiter and Saturn meet together to create “light in the darkness” or a “Christmas star.”

Two months ago the Lord began speaking to me about a “meeting” (joining or kiss) that would take place after the conclusion of Hanukkah. I shared it with some but most people’s minds were on the election and not on what would happen in December. The Lord told me that there would be a manifestation of Psalm 85:10 that would occur,

Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.

The meaning of the name Jupiter is “The Supreme God” and the meaning of the name Saturn is “The God of the Harvest”! In the midst of darkness they will meet together and kiss the earth with a sign of light! I realize that these name meanings were based on mythology and Greek gods but I also understand that God created these planets and I believe that their names actually point to our true “Supreme God” and “God of the Harvest” (capital “G” God— not small “g” god).

What awe and wonder we will see and encounter! Our Supreme God will kiss the harvest and many will know that He alone is God. This may just be the beginning of the great harvest that we have all prayed for and awaited.

12/21 will mark a great turnaround and alignment where love and faithfulness, righteousness and peace meet together and kiss creation! 2020 may have been the threshold of entering the greatest harvest the world has ever seen as light penetrates darkness. Hearts were aligned, His people met together in the midst of great separation, His remnant church was awakened and bought pure oil for her lamp. The global Ecclesia declared Jesus as King throughout the world as one bride and one body joined with one God! What a glorious sight as heaven and earth have aligned. Let earth receive her King!

The Impossible Will Happen!!

By Kathi Pelton

As I waited on the Lord the Holy Spirit led me to read out of 1 Kings 18. This chapter tells the story of when the prophets of Baal challenged Elijah as to “who is God?”; Baal or the God of Elijah. They both set up offerings and then called on their Gods to send fire upon the altar.

As I recounted how Elijah made his altar impossible to be consumed by fire (by pouring water on it, putting water trenches around it, etc) I thought of all the “impossibilities” that are even now upon many of the lives of God’s people. Maybe we are in a time that God will prove Himself to every false god and false prophet.

The prophets of Baal shouted to their god, they cut themselves until blood gushed out, they pounded their chests and yet their god did nothing. But Elijah drenched his offering with water and then prayed this prayer,

“O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, prove today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command. O LORD, answer me! Answer me so these people will know that you, O LORD, are God and that you have brought them back to yourself.”

Then after his prayer, fire fell and consumed his offering.

And when all the people saw it, they fell face down on the ground and cried out, “The LORD —he is God! Yes, the LORD is God!””
‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭18:36-37, 39‬ ‭

Life and circumstances in 2020 may feel like a “drenched altar” where you have offered your best. So many things look impossible but may the faith and assurance that Elijah walked in come upon you to believe that our God will prove Himself faithful in the “impossibles” that surround you.

Many of the prophetic voices have been prophesying with faith like Elijah had! They are prophesying the breakthrough of impossibilities; often in the midst of their own impossibilities. I’d rather be found on the side of faith then on the side of hopelessness. Faith does not disappoint because our hope is ultimately in our King— Jesus Christ. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen so many impossibilities surrounding the lives of people that I know but miracles don’t happen in the ordinary but in the extraordinarily impossibilities that come before us. These are our Red Sea, Jordan River, Jericho and David vs Goliath moments. Let us face them in faith! Honestly, I’d rather die in faith then live in unbelief! It’s time for fire to fall and consume your impossibilities!

1 Kings 18 goes on to tell of when Elijah prays for rain. Though there was no sign of rain he sends his servant seven times to look for rain clouds after he prayed. Finally his servant returns the seventh time and reports that he saw a small cloud, only the size of a man’s hand. Elijah tells his servant to go report to Ahab to go swiftly because an “abundance of rain” will come quickly…and it did!

For many weeks now I keep seeing in my spirit a small cloud, the size of a man’s hand and I know that it is a sign to prepare for a downpour— abundance of rain to suddenly fall.

All that is impossible for man is possible with God. The spirit of Elijah is prophesying that the fire will consume the offering and the abundance of rain will pour down upon the dry land. That is who our God is!
